  • Cannot beat for the $
I was skeptical but decided to try it. Must say I am impressed. After owning several other brands of hang on stands for various reasons each, this is the top for comfort. It arrived in great condition with all parts. Parts are in double heavy plastic bags and there's very little assembly reqd. Probably 15 mins to unpack and assemble. Has the plastic washers/spacers at all the pivoting points. It is somewhat heavy and bulky, not really a hike in and hang it public land type stand. I use this on private property and will leave it in the woods throughout the season so I'll update for how it handles the weather. To hang, I used the big foot climbing sticks and some added screw in steps to get to the height I needed, approx 22ft. Used a lag screw eyelet and some rope to hoist it up and hold while I attached the tree strap. Get it snug then the lever action of the stand very securely locks it into place. Hunted that same evening and sat a little over 3 hours with no problem. It is EXTREMELY comfortable. No creaks, squeaks or noise at all. Took a buck on the first evening sit! The base is very ample for boots and allows you to kick back with the extra footrest room. Seat is nice and the padded armrests pivot up silently, as does the seat, if you need to fold them out of the way. I used the back of my legs to fold up the seat when I stood to draw. Again, its silent - no metal to metal contact. Very impressed with this stand and will purchase others if it holds up. ... show more

  • Stable, comfortable seat and ample platform room
1/3/21 UPDATE: I wanted to circle back with an update on this stand. It's now been 3 months hunting out of it and it continues to perform nicely. If anyone is contemplating this stand and unsure, get it! I am very satisfied with it, the mesh seat is very comfortable and I really like the fold down arm rests. It is a roomy stand, as hanging stands go, and I feel very safe and secure using it. There is a little squeaking which now occurs when folding down the seat upon first getting in but it is the metal rubbing the flattened bark of the tree and not the stand itself. Once seated it remains a very quiet stand. The seat doesn't squeak when folding up so you can still stand for a shot and not draw any attention. The tree harness system (included) is an added bonus. I've been using it though I have just moved to a higher end harness which is simpler to don/put on and attach to the the tree. I am continuing to use this stand for the winter bow season here in South Jersey. Very nice product. 10/14/20 This is a nice stand for the money. Spent my first afternoon in the stand and got a deer from a seated position with my cross bow. The seat is comfortable and quietly folds up if you need to stand for a shot or just take a break and stretch. Many have stated that the stand is heavy (true)so I placed pulley on the tree, hoisted it from ground level, then used a ladder and my climbing stick to install it on the tree. Also added a camo ratchet strap for extra insurance over and above the two on the stand. EZ Peezy. ... show more

I like this stand for the price I bought it at..$139. I wouldn’t pay the current asking price on it.

  • Super Comfortable, Super Heavy
You better have a battle plan when hanging this stand. I was on climbing sticks and my son was on an extension ladder when we hung this thing. It is a bear- and forget using the included strap to hang it- get a couple ratchet straps, makes it much easier. One you get this up, I hope you never have to take it down. ... show more

  • This is a solid stand with easy setup. Heavy though.
This stand is definitely sturdy. The straps worked fine but I still added a ratchet strap for peace of mind and that sucker isn't going anywhere. It is heavy. There was no way I was going to be able to hold it, climbing rope or not, and get it strapped on. I had to get a ladder to be able to put it up and even then it was a struggle holding this thing and trying to get the strap around the tree. Once I had it on though I was happy. It is very comfortable and so far no issues with noise. This stand would be good if you don't plan to use it as a portable stand. I'm leaving it where it is. ... show more

  • Comfortable Tree Stand, Good Buy
I like this stand, it is roomy, sturdy and seems to be well made. Not giving a 5 star review because of two things. First is that I needed to add additional ratchet straps to secure it to the tree the way I personally wanted it to be (I am sure it was fine with the designed equipment provided, but I wanted it rock solid to the tree). Second is that when flipping the seat up, there is a square piece of tubing that rotates against the tree and causes some noise against the pine tree i have it attached to. I have a Millennium Monster 150 hang on stand, and this one is not as comfortable or easy to hang, however this one is over half the price. If this stand holds up the rest of the year I plan on buying a few more next year. I am pleased with this stand, and if anyone was on the fence between one of the millennium stands and this one, i would suggest that if you only were going to buy one stand, go with the millennium, but if you needed multiple stands or were on a tighter budget this is a really solid tree stand you would not be disappointing with ... show more

  • Comfortable
Excellent stand once in! Very comfortable and stable. I would say and beg you to make sure you use a lineman and lifeline when installing (of course you always should) but because this is bulky and heavy. Few tips. Put in a hook to hold the stand in place one you position it. I used an extra long garage hook which I put in first then hoisted the stand up and hooked it up to keep in place. The second thing and most important is read the instructions! :). The reason I say that is you need to lock the stand in place by having the the platform up, then push the stand down to lock in. The stand will not tighten if you try to do it with the platform down. Last thing is seat does get in the way a bit when climbing in so again please use a life line. ... show more
