I'm not upset...I needed the weight not the quality really. The case is cracked but what do you expect from an online order. The two problems we have with this is the chrome coating was overdone and my husband and I will get metal splinters in our hands using this if we dont wear gloves. The other kind of annoying thing is that the nuts constantly come unscrewed. You can't rest a dumbbell on your leg between sets because it'll twist the plate and it'll losen it to the point where it's slowly spinning while you're lifting which is frankly not just uncomfortable but terrifying. I'm spending quite a bit of time just re-tightening the darn nuts during my workout. This was a good choice for us price-wise trying to build a home gym on a budget though and it's still working out. For someone who's been lifting weights for over 30 years, I can tell you this is a good set. I would go with these over plastic any day. The barbell connects well, and feels sturdy. The weights are excellent for this price, especially since price of weights recently have gone from $1 a pound to $2 a pound or more. The screwlocks have a rubber piece that falls out pretty easily, and usually tightening after each set is required. This is easily fixable with a couple of those butterfly clamps, or whatever theyre called. Ordering some now from amazon. I really recommend ordering the largest set to get the case. The case has wheels, they don't roll very well but they work well enough. It allows for the whole gym to disappear behind a couch. When my set arrived however, the plastic case was cracked in many, many places. The great thing was, this company responded and sent out a new case with light speed. Everything fits beautifully in it now, and I'm very happy. I'm certain they encounter this often, as it's difficult probably to get shipping companies to handle something this heavy with care. Rest assured, when it arrives, your weights will be intact, and if you need another case, they'll send one out. So buy this with confidence. Honestly, I researched for so long before buying. The part that really upsets me about this product is the way it was shipped. Over 80 lbs of an item, all sent in a box? Just doesnt make sense. Needles to say the 'box' arrived extremely mangled and I am fortunate that none of the contents came out or got lost. It serves its purpose but I am sure there are more sturdy versions out there. I like that the weights are made of iron instead of iron and sand combo which makes these weights less bulky. I found that for some exercises, the dumbell bar sticks out so much at the end, its cumbersome. Some other negatives include: Sometimes the 'star's meant to keep the weights in place get loose and the black rubber in the star comes apart sometimes. And sometimes i get thin metallic chips when taking the weights on and off. ... show more

I simply can't understand hownthis product doesn't get a 5 star average I have been using resistance bands over the last year because as everyone knows gyms are xlosed and the bands have done a decent job and I also decided that I enjoyed working out at home but I needed to supplement my Arsenal , I priced a lot of products and they were either very expensive or looked really cheap I searched a lot and I settled for RitFit Adjustable Dumbbells and ma I glad I did , solid product ease of use and high quality I'm actually exited to see what else RitFit has to offer to complement my home gym and I can definitely say everything will pay for itself with the money I'll be saving in gym dues , and just one suggestion I would likely purchase a storing case if there was one available, ... show more

When I originally got this set the box was ripped and I was missing a few pieces. I immediately reached out to the company that informed me some of the pieces were being shipped separately. Once I got the separate pieces I was still missing some weights and a clamp so I told them that. They told me I could either get a $30 credit or they can send me the missing parts. They eventually did send me out the missing pieces in several different packages. The equipment does what it’s suppose to. It’s easy to put together and pull apart. These are great. Super compact so they fit in small areas. It’s a bit annoying having to change the weights between different sets but the fact that it can fit into a bag makes it so worth it. Good quality as well.
