  • Review of first time use
Color: 100W
Build quality and ease of use is everything that I expected after reading reviews and Q&As, and the price was right. I was glad that I opted for a100W rating panel, despite my power station seller's guidance being that 60W would be OK to charge a 300W battery power station to full within 8 to 10 hours. I bought this after a recent local power outage lasting 31 hours in HHH (hazy, hot and humid) Houston area. Not fun. Anyway, my power station shows charging with a set of 5 bars (like 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 percent). It does not have a watt meter. It took over 11 hours of direct sun (moved the angle of the panel over the day), yet the final bar was still flashing by the time the sun went down. So, I estimate that it might have reached 85% charged with the solar panel. I also base that on needing another 50 minutes of the power station connected to charge via AC adapter before the 5th and final bar stopped flashing. Power station manual is somewhat ambiguous about charging times, stating 8 hours one place for solar panel (50 or 60 W) and 10 hours elsewhere. So, I have to think that either the solar panel isn't as efficient, the power station somehow throttles the input power, or some combination. The sun was really, really bright, few clouds, and I did move the solar panel around as the sun progressed from East to South to West during the day. My power station user guide states that maximum input rating is 36W. When I look at the AC adapter, it outputs 15V, 2.4A. That's 36W. Is it possible the power station limited the input from the solar panel? I don't know. I did see one YouTube review where the reviewer did have a wattmeter on his power station and it read 39W in bright sun. Again, not saying it was a limitation by the power station or the solar panel. Not enough information. In the end, I'm keeping the solar panel, though I'm somewhat disappointed that 11 hours of Summer Sun could not charge my power station to 100%. One day I hope I can borrow something with a watt meter and measure the panel output. ... show more

  • Sturdy, worked immediately
Color: 100W
I got these on a Friday, had a fairly sunny day on Saturday so thought I'd try them out. Straight out of the box they appear to be very good quality. The cables and tips were in a zip pouch attached to the panels, which also houses and protect the USB and DC ports. The "kickstand" is incorporated right into the design of the cover/bag. I took it outside when the sun was at its brightest and plugged my phone into it. Immediately it began charging, with the time being the same if I had plugged it into a wall outlet. I bought these panels for charging a portable power station, and I think they'll do the trick. Very pleased. ... show more

  • Mixed bag.
I bought one of these and was happy given what I paid for it. I was able to pull up to about 80 watts in direct sunlight at 49 degrees north latitude. I bought a second and it would not put out more than 30 watts. I could see a damaged cell on it. Return was no trouble and I have a replacement on the way. ... show more

  • Impressed
I'm really impressed with this solar panel! It's much better quality than I was expecting. It's heavy duty and feels very robust. It's got some hefty weight to it for sure, but not hard to carry. The fabric is very nice and thick. The straps are snug and tight. The stands work well enough and the pouch is nice. It's just designed extremely well. It feels very high quality. I just bought it for emergency power outages. I haven't used it outside yet, but inside, behind my slightly hazy window in my living room that is coated to lower sun rays, on a slightly hazy day with some scattered clouds I was getting about 35 watts. I have no doubt outside on a full sunny day I'd be getting drastically more watts. This is why it's good to have a bigger panel, when conditions are not ideal you'll still get enough power. I'm kind of blown away I was getting that much power inside my house in those conditions. ... show more

  • Work, but could be better
Color: 100W
Only able to get up to 65w on sunny day. I expected to pull at least 75/80watts, was hoping to get lucky one day w 85, but nope, not yet. Will update if I ever do. I always knew I needed at least 200w to charge my 1000w batt (its enough to charge up my little EB3A) but I wanted to try one of these before I bought 2, and I’m glad I did. So now I plan to purchase an additional (different brand) 160w or 200w to pwr my 1000w station. Not bad for the price tho. ... show more

  • Love the portability and works great with my power station!
Color: 100W
I recently got a 300W/300WH portable power station and its saved me while working from home when the power went out for a little bit, decided to bite the bullet and try out a solar panel to go along with my power station in case of emergencies or camping trips. Finally got a chance to try this out today outside my house, plugged it in to my power station and right when I opened the solar panels up it started charging right away! It was a pretty cloudy day but it averaged 60W+ the entire time! Super impressed and love the portability, it folds up so nicely so I can easily store it away or throw it into my car for outing trips! Excited to use it on my next camping trip! ... show more

  • Disappointed
Color: 100W
Solar panel will need to be in orbit or Mars if you expect anything near 100 watts. 50+/- tops but the conviency, portability and price makes this a good buy.
