I took a head circumference measurement and it was well within the large size. So i felt confident ordering the large. However it was much too small. I even adjusted all the Velcro and top ties. I would recommend going up a size

Desperately needed a new head gear. Great purchase. Make sure to buy this one if you are going to compete. Amazon has one that looks exactly the same but I don't think is competition regulation.
