Description

Ringke Slim Case for Galaxy Z Fold 2 (2020) Add beauty and protection without compromising the natural silhouette of your phone to have the perfect platform of improved texture and lightweight hard frame for reliable protection. Confidently carry your device with a minimalist profile and slender look that is both comfortable to hold and easy to grip. Ringke Slim for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is separated into two parts for the front and back and is held in place by anti-slip pads near the edges of the case. Please remove the plastic protection film to use the non-slip pad. The front piece protects the 6.2-inch outer screen by providing a raised lip around the edges, keeping the fragile screen from touching a flat surface when placed face-down. Simultaneously, the back piece protects the back camera with a lifted bezel around the edges. Ringke's innovative design prevents wobble while the phone is closed by balancing the device. While closed, the hinge is uncovered, revealing the brand mark. The case pieces together when the phone is open, creating a single, completed case. Feel an instant and direct response from your device via the uncovered buttons, and further customize your phone by adding an accessory with the Quikcatch lanyard hole for added drop-protection.

  • Best Case Available for the Galaxy Z Fold2!
I was so excited when I saw this pop up on Amazon a couple of days ago and I ordered it immediately! Ringke made my favorite case for the S9 but they skipped the first Galaxy Z Fold so I was switching between the Spigen case and the GKK case for the year I had it. (The Spigen case was a fingerprint magnet and the GKK case didn't have non-slip pads and the noise-canceling mic cutout didn't line up). This Ringke case is amazing! So far fingerprints have not been a problem and it even has a stabilizing ledge near the logo that prevents it from wobbling. It also has a lanyard hole, but I usually use these for phone charms. It feels very solid around the case and all the cutouts are perfectly aligned too. I also bought the Spigen and the GKK cases again for the Galazy Z Fold2 but I think I'll be returning them as this one has the features I liked from each of them. The Spigen ($29.99) case has the non-slip pads but the charging cutout is tight, it gets dirty real quickly, and it doesn't have the lanyard hole. The GKK ($18.99) case stays clean and has the lanyard hole, but it doesn't have the non-slip pads, and for some reason has the phrase "AI Autofocus" printed near the camera. That's not even a real feature. This Ringke ($16.99) case has all of those postive features the other two have plus the stabilizing ledge. Also while the Spigen and GKK cases have the same rounded shape, the Ringke case is squared which retains the feel of the Fold2's new design and the cutout for the side buttons/fingerprint scanner is smaller and more precise. I realize this is a lot of small details and information but I just wanted to document what I noticed while giving props to this case. If things change in the next few months I'll edit the review, but right now this case is probably the best one you'll get at this time! ... show more

  • "Case is loose/doesn't fit" complaints: READ ME!
One of the big reasons I almost didn't buy this was because a lot of people were complaining that it doesn't fit well or that certain pieces are loose or slide around. When I first put the case on, I noticed the same thing until I looked on YouTube to see if I was putting it on wrong. As it turns out, THERE ARE PEICES OF RUBBER ON BOTH SIDES OF THE CASE THAT ARE COVERED BY A LAYER OF PLASTIC FILM. The case, while good quality, comes in the most minimal packaging possible with no instructions to remove this bit of film. Its almost impossible to notice if you opt for the black version, and even YouTube reviewers were frequently missing it. Personally, I prefer the minimalist approach, as I'd rather have a lower price than cover the cost of instagram-approved fussy packaging. The only people that this lack of instructions really hurts is the company who has to deal with the returns and complaints. That said, I hate that phone companies can get away with charging a ridiculous markup for peices of plastic with poor design standards (no thanks, I'd rather not have to put tape on my phone). Overall, this is an excellent case that fits perfectly and securely with adequate protection. It's well worth the $20 twice over (as long as you remove the plastic that covers the rubber on the inside of the case.) ... show more

  • Peace of Mind
This case is about as slim as can be imagined while still protecting the phone. It fits the device perfectly. It doesn't add hardly any girth to the device and actually nicely alleviates the gap (at the top and bottom when the phone is closed) preventing hair and dust protection which I like. I don't have enough faith in this case to perform a drop test with the Z Fold 2, but It is providing nice protection from scratches when I set the device on tables/desks. I also like that it alleviates the wobble when the phone is flipped closed and laying with it's camera side to the desk. There is still minimal wobble when you open into tablet mode and set the device flat on a table, but not as bad as with no case. There is also an adequate lip that protects the front screen when you prop the phone up in "tripod" mode. This case is affordable and offers peace of mind in regards to scratches. As for drops, I hope I never find out.... ... show more

  • Pefect
I am a complete clutz and drop my z fold all the time. This phone is way too expensive to walk around without protection on it. I wasn't sure this would be the right case for me.Because it didn't look like it was that heavy duty, But it is extremely durable and has helped my screen survive many drops. ... show more

  • Good for the time being
So... its been a few weeks. The cases is def slim. It feels nice in my hand though it's a bit slippery. My first issue is it comes off and doesn't feel like its protecting the phone much. The edges by the hinge move easily. The front case just popped off in my pocket, for example. The other issue I have is that when the phone is open laying down flat it wobbles when I type on it due to the camera not being flush with the rest of the case. Its def better than without the case but its still annoying. The phones bumpers do protect the front screen and camera though which I like. All in all, for a cheap case this works in a pinch but long term its no bueno. I'm going to look for something better. ... show more

  • Better Than My Previous Spigen Case!
This case replaces the one from Spigen I previously had, which was twice the price and eventually cracked to the point of being unusable. I'm glad it did! Compared to the Spigen, I find only plusses for this case: + The finish, while shiny, makes it easier to hold the phone at differing angles without it slipping out of your hand(s) + The case is all clear, so you can consistenly see the color from all angles (my last one was clear with black on the sides - they did not offer all clear) + The cutout for the power and volume buttons is more generous - I have not had an issue unlocking the phone with my finger or accidentally hitting the volume key + The biggest? The cutout for the charging port actually allows USB charging! The biggest drawback to my previous case was having to remove both pieces to charge using a cable. If I only removed the piece for the charging port side and put the phone back on my stand to charge, it would become wobbly and fall off my desk (thus cracking the part around the phone's front). Definitely a good buy! ... show more
