Just picked this up for my new Note8. So far so good. It isn't on par with a $50 case but remember you get what you pay for. Some people have complained about the tightness of the case on the sides. I found that mine is about 80% tight there. Better than I had expected, The good: Case is attractive and doesn't look "cheap". Gives good coverage around all of the edges. The button molds keep from accidental pressed yet do not require heavy force to use button. Cutouts for charging port and headphone jack are large enough to not impede most cables. The average: Case is not slippery not rubbery. It slides easily in and out of my pocket. It is very neutral. Cutout for the stylus does make it hard to pull the stylus out. Could use more beveling on the sides. Some of the ridges are sharp, they will probably wear with age. No bads yet. Overall first impression is this case is worth the $9 I paid for it and I would definitely recommend it for someone who isn't clumsy. Also: One of the reviewer's pictures shows a green arrow pointed to what they think is a dent. That is from the injection molding. It's normal, mine has it too. ... show more

I recently replaced my Zizo case with this one. The main reason I chose this case is because I wanted a case that was durable and sleek looking, but one that also worked with my Samsung Wireless Convertible charger. My old case would work intermittently and I would sometimes wake up to an almost dead battery because the phone wouldn't charge. With this case, I have had no issues using a wireless charger. Set the phone on the charger and it starts charging, perfect! The case has a luxurious "soft" plastic feel. The back has a "brushed" look that serves as texture to help you grip the phone. When hanging onto the phone, it doesn't feel like it is going to slip out of my hand. The side buttons are easy to press and are very low-profile so they don't stick out much more than the original buttons did. Putting the phone in and out of a pocket is easy due to slim profile. I don't mind slipping the phone into the front pocket again because it is easy to pull back out. Putting on and removing the case is easy as it is a hard but flexible plastic. It is rigid enough to offer drop protection, but flexible and "soft" enough to feel really good in your hand. Aesthetically, the case is very nice to look at. From the front, the case looks like most other cases, you just see the small profile of the thin black bezel. From the back, the two-tone texture looks very nice. The center of the back of the case has a brushed look and feel, whereas the top and bottom of the case have pronounced diagonal lines that gives the case even more grip. The camera and fingerprint sensor are recessed slightly and protected by the case. The way the case is beveled around the fingerprint sensor make it easy to unlock your phone using your finger without issue. The charging port, headphone port, and stylus are easy to get at with this case. Even slightly thicker-end charging cables fit in the charging port as the case has a slightly oversized opening for the cable. If you have an oversized headphone jack however, you may have a hard time plugging in headphones because this opening is cut perfectly to fit the standard plug. Every once in a while I bump the stylus and click it out by accident, but not enough to be worrisome. The stylus is recessed into the case a bit, so you typically don't have to worry about bumping it out. I have dropped my phone only a couple times, but both times my phone was properly protected. The first time I dropped the phone, the glass screen protector took the hit. I decided to not replace the protector as both with the Zizo and this case, the curved glass of the phone makes it a little difficult to have a full curved glass screen protector on the phone along with the case. Plus, touch sensitivity is reduced slightly with a protector. Overall, I have been very happy both with the look and quality of this case. ... show more

For the money this is absolutely a must! I generally get sucked into buying a Tech21 case every time I get a new Samsung phone. However, I decided to try and find something a little cheaper. This case was under $10 and looks and feels great. Love the design on the back and the grip it provides. Still keeps the phone looking slim and feels durable. I have yet to drop my phone, so obviously that's where you would really find out, but I was ultimately looking for a case for my phone so I didn't have to walk around like I'm holding my child all day and afraid to touch it or let people hold it.     • Nice, snug, little case
I love the low profile of this case. I don't need a huge protective case since I never drop my phones. I just need a grippy back to make sure the phone doesn't slide around on slick surfaces. And a little bit of cushion on the corners if I ever do drop it. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is a little hard to get on and off. That may be a bonus to others because it's so snug. But I think it's possible to be snug without having to struggle to get it on and off. And once it's on, you only have to take it off to get to the SC card which I guess you don't do very often. ... show more

When looking for another case, Amazon reminded me I purchased this item in Sept 2017. It was the "let me get a cheap case when I look for the perfect one" case. It's been more than a year and I am still using it, turned out it's the almost perfect case. I dropped it a few times when getting out of my 4Runner. I MIGHT dropped it once from 4 or 5 feet height on a sidewalk ( I said MIGHT, because it's been a while, it could've been my old phone. But I did drop it from that high up onto carpet at home). Anyway , the case suffered from couple dents at the corner (see pictures for the battle scars. took the phone out to take pics.), but it did the job to protect my phone: No glass shattered, phone still work great. The only reason I am looking for another case is because I stuck a Ringke card holder on the back, and the whole thing does not fit in my car holder anymore. I wish it comes with other colors since the whole thing is black when the screen is off and I often have trouble locating my phone. :) ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised by this case - nice construction - looks pretty stylish on the back and more importantly, all the ports are easily accessible. S-Pen easy to pop out and fingerprint sensor works very well, especially with the little edge they made so you know you're not touch the camera part. It's still not enough difference between the fingerprint portion and the camera portion though - maybe some sort of texture difference would help as well. Wireless charging works as well - at least with the Samsung Fast Charge wireless pad. Anyway - great case at a great price. ... show more
