I prefer pretty minimal cases, and wanted a clear one. I had initially purchased another popular brand completely clear (glossy) case for my S20 FE and I found that I really didn't like the feel of the glossy material all around - it was a little slippery and felt greasy. When I saw the Ringke case came in matte and was even less expensive, I wished I had seen it first. The Ringke case is a little more minimal which I prefer, and I think the matte back looks better than the glossy since the plastic back of the phone is matte to begin with. Everything lines up the way it should. Getting that protective film off the inside was a bear (outside not so bad). I find 3 main downsides to this case now that I've used it a while: First, the matte surface doesn't extend to all the edges. The edges are still a little slippery, and this is the part I mostly touch. I've had older clear cases that were matte and textured on the edges - didn't look as shiny but they worked better. Second, the edge of the matte panel is not completely flush. The top and left side are pretty good, but the bottom edge and right side have a definite edge I can feel. It's minor but noticeable. The previously-mentioned all-glossy case I had was better in this regard. Third, as with all cases, dust and lint are going to get inside, and with this being a clear case, you'll see it all. This is not unique to this one and I think the fit is good and snug which may reduce how much gets in there. With that said, my case search is over and I'll stick with this one. ... show more

When I get a new phone I care for it like a baby... for the first 3 days that is. After that it gets thrown all over the place, falls everywhere, gets forgotten in random places etc. This case, for being only $6.99, has been the best case I've purchased ever. I made my purchase in November 2020, so it has been almost a year that I've been using it. Pros: - Never yellowed : still as clear as the day I received it. - Sleek and compact : slim, non-bulky design, almost like a "second skin" - Shock absorption - perfect - : the raised edges don't ruin the appearance of the phone; I've dropped mine on concrete/tiled floors a little too often. My phone remains intact and crack/scratch free. Cons: - It isn't water proof BUT it doesn't claim to be. The only time I've had issues with substances getting inside was when it got submerged in spilled iced tea. (Low key judging the individual that has to wipe it down on a "daily basis" ) If you're looking for a cheap, durable, long lasting case that you can throw on and forget about that doesn't detract from the appearance of the phone then this is it :) ... show more

The case is already turning a yellowish brown around the sides after only 3 or so weeks. It bothered me at first, but now I just think it adds some character. Besides, the way the matte doesn't show prints and smudges at ALL is much more important to me. Case is well built, has great button feedback, and feels great in the hand. I seem to be in the minority about my case turning yellowish brown so early, so you the reader may not have the problem, but know it's still possible. I had a ringke case on my old phone. When I got a new one, I decided to stick with ringke. I love having the lanyard. It helps me find me phone in my purse and also it's easier to hang onto when my hands are full. This case did NOT come with lanyard like my old case. I just reused the old one. This case has a nice grip and I like that it's clear to see the pretty color of my phone. The plastic does show fingerprints but not too big of a deal. The ringke cases have kept my phones safe despite dropping them numerous times. The fit is great and I will likely continue to use this brand of case. It's easy to take on and off too. ... show more

Pros: - Nice matte back which prevents fingerprints and feels nice to the touch. - Clear case to show off the nice colors of your S20 FE. My phone is orange and looks really cool with this case on. - Cheap Cons: - The cutout for the USB-C port and edges of the case are a bit sharp, digging into my hands when I hold the phone in certain ways. - The plastic on the sides of the case is glossy and stick to the sides of the phone, making your phone looks as if it was wet. - The fit is a bit loose than other clear cases I've tried. There's lots of lints and debris accumulated inside the case just after one week. ... show more
