I bought the clear matte back. This case fits my Pixel 8 Pro very well but doesn't add bulk. I have small hands, and it's easy for me to hold this large phone. I love the matte back, as it doesn't show fingerprints like a regular clear case, which I usually have. I like the camera protection area. All the cutouts are perfect. The buttons are clicky. There is enough of a grip feel to the sides that I don't feel like I'll drop the phone I have no problems with adding the small insert at the bottom of the case with the loop to connect a lanyard - the case still fits, and I can charge my phone with no issues. I also bought the magnetic Popsockets and applied the peel-and-stick mag ring (I did put a small book on it overnight after applying it before using it). The magnetic popsocket works great. I used my husband's MagSafe charger for about 15 minutes, and that worked as well. ===============MARCH 18, 2024 UPDATE I have been using this case for my Pixel 8 Pro now for more than 2 months, and I still love it. I just spent a month on vacation taking and editing tons of photos, having others look at photos and take photos with my phone, reading books, emails, articles, WhatsApp's, etc., on my phone, etc. - and the matte backing has performed flawlessly. There are NO scratches or fingerprints. I did use my PhoneSoap to sterilize both the phone and the case after I got home, and I took a lightly damp cloth to clean the phone and the case as well (and also dried both of them). I LOVE this phone case!

I have used the Spigen Rugged Armor case on my last four phones because I love how thin it is with still adding drop protection, and I love how the front side bezel doesn't stick up far and is more level with the screen. The front protection is done by the top and bottom being raised. Its so much easier on the thumbs. But this time I bought the P8P baby blue phone and I wanted a clear case to show the color. I got the Spigen Ultra Hybrid at first. My research showed it was the same thickness as their Rugged Armor, but after a few days, I hated the case. it felt thicker and the front sides were raised the same height as the top and bottom and it irritated my thumbs. Almost to the point where I wasn't liking this phone. Bit I got recommended this Fusion Matte case and I absolutely love it. It feels like the Spigen Rugged Armor but still adds drop protection and the front sides are more even with the screen with the top and bottom raised more like the Rugged Armor also. Also, I love the look and feel of the matte PC back on this case. Not only is it much more resistant to fingerprints, but it feels much nicer too. I highly recommend this case if you want a clear thinner case that still adds drop protection.

The case fits my Pixel 7 Pro perfectly, feels good in my hand, shows the color of my phone (sage) nicely through the back and is a good price for the quality. Makes the phone look like it's a million bucks. I've dropped the phone about ten times since I've had it on - primarily pocket height - with no damage to the phone or screen. I like how I can feel the buttons on the side and also see them through the case when looking at it without turning it to that side. Unfortunately, the sides yellow within a few months (the harder plastic on the back remains clear though). It isn't terribly awful looking though, it makes it look like the phone has gold tone metal on the edges. Nevertheless, I decided I liked the case enough to buy another one (that's how I did the picture). It definitely looks better crystal clear.

I ordered this right when I purchased my P7P & am so glad I did! Like anyone, I looked around for a good case, did some research as well & ultimately decided on this case & an official Google case too. The Google case took forever to get to me & is really nice but I honestly wish I saved my money & just purchased this one alone. I've had my phone & this case for several months now & have yet to experience any yellowing or dullness of the case. The material is really nice to the touch, soft, easy to clean & of course nice to look at since you can see the color of the phone. It also protects the camera bump which is a HUGE plus! I was really worried about other cases that don't protect that as in reviews I've seen the material scratches easily. I have not had any scratches or issues with this case. It's not slippery at all either when holding or setting down somewhere, the matte finish on the back looks & feels great in hand too. Highly recommend this case for anyone looking for a cheap, good, clear case.

EDIT: The flexible parts of the case have yellowed, and it was about 8-9 months in when I noticed it. Disappointed. I have had this phone case since the end of October 2023 and will update this review if I notice any discoloration. I really like that this case basically look like the phone doesn't have a case on from a distance. I especially like that the camera cutout covers the silver bar rather than being an open rectangle like most other cases I saw online. The case corners and top and bottoms edges are raised so there is no interruption swiping from side to side while still providing protection for the screen. The matte back is nice, and while it does have some scratches, I do not see them unless I tip it into the light. I kept this one in large part because it is from Korea rather than China, and my last clear case from China yellowed within a year.

Some of the other cases I tried for my Pixel 8 Pro had too much of a raised bumper on the sides of the screen which interfered with swiping or touching along the visible right and left very edges of the screen. Having just come from a phone with curved glass edges, I found this limiting and error inducing. It exaggerated the sense of the screen being down inside a box. This Ringke Fusion is the perfect solution for me. I chose the matte clear to replace a Spiegen and I could not be happier with my choice. Great look with crystal clear materials where it matters and a matte finish on the back which seems to hide fingerprints and gives a great feel to the case. The back is a bit smooth but not slippery at all and the edges and buttons are good for gripping like the Spiegen.
