  • It's a yes for me!
Color: Brushed Silver Size: 11
This my my first and I suspect only smart ring for a while, until something new and more innovative comes out. This ring hits all the right reasons and necessities for a smart ring. The functionality is flawless and provides all the necessary information I need; sleep, apnea check, HRV, heart rate, oxygenation, recovery, and more. Provides suggestions, but not intrusive. Not overly complicated. Very intuitive. You catch on as you go and it does provide instructional and educational information at all events and markers, if you want the information. Battery life is superb, I just got eleven days with room for one more day. I didn't want to zero it out, so I recharged it with nine percent left in the tank. I did one apnea assessment consisting of three nights and one calibration. I did two additional calibrations (just to check). I've done about eight manual request for heart rate, rhythm, oxygen, etc. The information is truly transformational. I am becoming much more efficient at managing my energy and making choices, even my meds admin. Connects fine with my "old" Samsung phone. Auto functions are good, picks up moderate/vigorous walking without entering a manual mode workout and offers it up to accept or decline it as a workout. You can enter different types of workouts manually and you can adjust there intensity level and so forth. There are enough choices. And, the "other". I have cross checked blood pressure, heart rate and oxygenation and it all checks out. They call it circulatory... So, it's pretty accurate. Now, here are some cons people have mentioned, but do not bother me at all, insofar as the trade off for battery life. Most notifications will only work if the app is open or you have persistence enabled (will affect battery life). More on that later. Will not provide you info unless the app is open; I believe there is a widget, but I haven't bothered. I just open and close the app as needed. So, having read these issues as they relate to battery life, this is what I did when setup; I declined all offers to enable persistence (didn't turn it on, on suggestions either). Didn't allow continuous location tracking, only when the app is open (precise location) and when manually enabling walking/running mode (it will try to get you to enable it, just ignore it and tap somewhere else on the screen and it'll go away). After a while, all these suggestions to enable optional features will stop. Stick with the defaults. Run in background, another one, I did something that worked for me, but I won't mention it because I don't know how it would work for someone else and it's a more complicated procedure. And, of course, NO subscription fees, Smiley Whiplash. All in all, I am very happy with this ring at this point; worthy (expensive) purchase. ... show more

  • Pleasantly surprised
Color: Royal Gold Size: 8
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I purchased the competitor oura 5 and they changed their design and it was too tight. And also, they were very aggressive in their nature with how they gave you information and it stressed me out. This ring is Very calm natured. Nothing is yelling at you telling you to go to bed on time or making you feel bad when a stat is a little bit off. Some of my favorite features are that it tells you how many steps you did during each hour of the day so like from 11:30 to 12:30 it might tell you that you did 400 steps but then from 1:30 to 2:30 you did 1000 steps! It’s really nice to see that breakdown and not just see the count It’s also really important to mention that the competitor ring and all watches only track your blood oxygen and your HRV at night. This ring tracks it all day long so you can see on every hour what your stats are! I thought that was really great as well too The competitor ring has “tags” that you can write you know if you weren’t feeling well or if you noted something special on a specific day you would tag it. Well, here you can write different symptoms and then there is a special screen that compares symptoms overtime that you have written and let you know that you might see these certain symptoms at certain times of the month so I thought that was really cool as well. One thing I wanna talk about is sizing. The competitor ring I was a size 8, and I bought the newer version of that competitor ring in the same size and it was so tight because the sensors inside the ring are now protruding. This ring I purchased as well in a size 8. And the sensors inside this ring are protruding however because they have those protruding sensors they make the ring a little bit bigger to account for that so it’s not tight at all. It’s very comfortable. It’s much more comfortable than the competitor. And those little bumps inside the ring help hold it on at first I thought they were gonna hurt, but they’re really great. Another thing to mention is yes there are only about five exercises that you can choose from when you’re doing a workout. So for example, I like to do barre and Pilates so what I would do is choose the gentle yoga option. It doesn’t matter because it will still track your heart rate and how many calories you burn so it doesn’t matter what you call it, however They do allow you now to track workouts automatically. I have yet to experience it, but they say that they have tons and tons of workouts that it will automatically track so if for example, I go swimming in a pool and it says that I was wrestling and not what I was actually doing you can actually edit it and write what you were doing so that’s awesome too! Overall, I’m really surprised by this ring. I love that it doesn’t have an aggressive pushiness like the competitor. It’s very calm and friendly and very easy to understand and they literally do have tons and tons of stats just like the competitor and some more so like being able to see your steps broken down throughout the day. It’s a really great price and there is no subscription and I really do feel like this is a nice ring. If you’re looking for a lifestyle ring tracking different things throughout the day this is not an aggressive workout ring. If you are looking for something more aggressive for working out, I would definitely recommend the WHOOP. But this is perfect for lifestyle and just some exercises here and there and being able to know your body and how you’re feeling. I am somebody who has celiac disease and when I get gluten in my system from eating it, I get very sick and dizzy and it’ll be nice to be able to see my sleep charts and compare everything when those events happen so that I can be prepared. ... show more

  • So Happy I bought This!!
Color: Brushed Rose Gold Size: 9
Love this ring! As a nurse, I had concerns regarding my sleep apnea and heart rate. I dislike wearing my watch to bed and the ring faded away into the background within minutes of wearing it so it felt comfortable going to bed with it. After the data collection phase, it did indeed show my sleep apnea indicating how often my breathing stopped and the times my oxygen level dropped and for how long. I can take that information to my doctor now. As for my heart rate issues, it correlated to the times I felt my heart racing and showed how high the heart rate was. I'm not concerned about Afib, which the ring does not detect, so I'm happy with the results. The step count closely matches my watch. I bought the rose gold finish(so pretty!). I didn't use the ring sizing kit, I cheated and went to a jewlry store and went a half size smaller as the ring needs to be snug against your skin. The battery life lives up to stated lenght of time- no need to charge frequntly! I could go on and on about this ring but I'm so happy I bought this!! ... show more

  • Sizing and early usage info
Color: Brushed Silver Size: 7
I ordered the sizer kit first which I highly recommend. I am a 1/2 size which isn’t offered, so I went back and forth for a couple days on which size was better. Be sure to wear the sizer overnight due to normal nighttime swelling. I have a thicker knuckle w/a smaller finger base. Once over my knuckle rings tend to spin which is an issue with smart rings since the sensor needs to stay palm side. I ended up going with the smaller size which I wear on my left middle finger daily but switch it to my smaller right ring finger at night. These have the tiny sizing ball’s that help help keep them in place which is great for me. The plastic sizers have them too. The actual ring slides on/off better than the plastic ring. I’m glad I went with the smaller size. I’ve had the ring almost 2 weeks so it’s still in it’s getting to know me phase. The app is pretty good, I’m still figuring it out. The sleep, stress, steps/activity communication seems accurate and easy to decipher. Other things like - SP02, HR & HRV can be confusing to me. For example: it will say “Vital Signs - 7 changes worth a look today” then show me that my 02 or HRV went up or down a bit but what it doesn’t say is if that change is a good or bad thing. You can hit the tiny info button to learn what HRV is but it doesn’t tell you if your reading specifically is good or bad or what? I’ve had to google and correlate that info to my readings. Again, we’re still getting to know each other so maybe that’s why. This is my first smart ring so I don’t know how this info compares to others. You do need a blood pressure cuff to enter ratings the first 24 hours. It hasn’t asked me to do that since. I had a pretty bad headache one evening and the ring knew which I found pretty cool. It sent me an alert that it was detecting a headache and had me enter in information about it. I manually took my BP during the headache and sure enough, it was high! The ring itself is pretty! The brushed silver has a cool sheen to it. They are thicker than a normal ring for sure. The first couple days, I def knew it was there but now I don’t notice it unless I’m lifting weights. So far it’s not scratched at all. Overall I like it a lot and am pleased with the purchase. ... show more

  • If you are looking at smart rings you don't want to overlook this one!!
Color: Matte Black Size: 12
Did several months of back and forth and researching all the pro's and cons of this ring, the Oura ring, the Samsung ring and a bunch of other rings. This was the winner for me even though all my current devices are Samsung this ring has the superior battery life and several features that the Samsung ring did not have. Compared to the Oura there is no additional monthly costs etc. The sizing kit that you get is great, you wear one of the plastic rings for a day or two and put it on / take it off at different times of day to determine the perfect size then you order your RingConn the app is free and easy to use and the ring itself is light and comfortable to wear. I am really glad I did my homework on this because I almost bought the Oura at Costco and I'm so happy with this ring!! ... show more

Three days in, not sure i will keep it. I have an autoimmune disease and can no longer wear anything on my wrists. Loved my Fitbit. Need to monitor vascular, cardio, oxygen sleep, and stress. Trying to figure out, the app is NOT user friendly. I see some basic info but still searching for most. App freezes a lot. Ill give it a few more days, but for the $$$ not impressed. • Love it!
Color: Brushed Rose Gold Size: 8
This is a great ring. I came from the other well-known smart ring and was happy with it for a while, but I decided to try this one after reading that it had newer sensors and could provide insights related to blood pressure. All I can say is: wow. One of the biggest surprises for me was that it flagged possible apnea. I know this is not a medical device, but it pointed me in the right direction and encouraged me to seek proper medical advice. I had already suspected I might have an issue, and this gave me an extra reason to take it seriously. As for the blood pressure feature, it definitely does not replace a traditional blood pressure monitor, and I don’t think anyone should expect it to. You either find the feature useful as an extra reference point, or you don’t. For me, it is a nice addition. I also tested the step counter myself by counting steps manually, and the ring was usually slightly above my manual count, but never by more than about 5%. That is perfectly acceptable to me. I also own one of the newest Huawei watches, which is known for accurate heart rate tracking, and this ring usually differs by only about 1–2 bpm. Regarding sleep tracking, I found a comparison with a Fitbit device, which is often praised for sleep accuracy. In my opinion, the weak point is not necessarily the total sleep duration, but the breakdown of sleep stages, which I don’t expect to be perfectly accurate anyway. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about exact sleep stages. What matters most to me is knowing roughly how long I slept so I can tell whether I’m getting enough rest. One of the most important features for me is the stress and HRV tracking. With the widget, I can actually see that when I feel stressed, my HRV goes down and the stress score goes up almost immediately. That has been very useful and surprisingly consistent. Finally, the battery life is excellent — better than any other ring I’ve owned — and there is no subscription fee, which is a big plus. I’ve seen reviews where people mostly praise the battery life and the lack of subscription as the best things about this ring. I actually disagree. For me, the most important things are the features, the useful health insights, and the overall accuracy. The great battery life and no extra subscription are just the cherry on top. ... show more

Color: Future Silver Size: 12
Dear RingConn Team, As you well know, there are many “smart rings” available, which does make choosing the right one difficult; especially if you are a beginner like most everyone is since this is somewhat new technology led by Oura. Truthfully I was seriously looking to buy the ordering until I did my research of many other manufacturers of smart ring. The one problem I had was that OURA doesn’t offer an on demand O2 saturation, which is something I must have knowledge of constantly. My GEN three picked up my sleep apnea in the first night and has given me detailed information every night since. My oxygen saturation has been ongoing problem since daily drop under 90%. My RingConn gen 3 is the only ring I found that could give me this information on a graph and on demand. The RingConn customer service has been outstanding from the day I purchased my GEN three. All my questions were answered within one day with detailed explanations. I also had a size problem which RingConn went above and beyond to help me with an excellent solution on every occasion. In my 71 years, I’ve never had this type of customer service from any manufacturer. if customer service is that important part of your decision to purchase a product, RingConn is the way to go. my ring has a 14 days of power before you need to recharge it in the charger box that comes with to purchase. There is no extra charge or subscription needed for use of their app ever. It also makes to APPLE health and Wellitory. I have the shiny silver titanium ring that after 2 1/2 weeks has not a scratch on it.. I highly recommend anyone interested in a smart ring to take a serious look at RingConn and compare it to the competition. Thank you RingConn for your product and customer service.
