I use this product as a bridge for the outdoor smart plug. I love how I am able to set schedules based on whatever time I’d like for the plug to start. This helps with the Wi-Fi signal to make sure your plug is working properly. You definitely need this if using an outside light or plug.

I really liked how easy it was to setup with our current Ring system. We wanted to put external flood lights plugged into the outdoor Ring plug and this allowed us to do that. We can turn them on with a simple command to Alexa or from our phones or programed into the camera security system we have.

Have had no issues with this product in terms of connectivity and ease of use. My only complaint would be that at the time I purchased this, it was because I had no choice. There was no bundle that included this with any lighting or other ring products. Almost a “gotcha” kind of purchase. Overall recommend, but kind of annoyed that I had to buy it in the first place.
