The ring is very comfortable, I would highly suggest ordering the sizing kit and wearing a size from that kit that fits you best for at least one day/night. Well, you do have to pay $5 for the ring sizing kit versus getting it for free directly from the ultrahuman website, you have to keep in mind that you're also getting prime shipping and Amazon customer service this way. Data collected appears to be accurate when comparing to upper arm heart rate monitors (since that's what I have available). I cannot comment on the accuracy of spo2 or skin temperature, however, they do appear to be consistently realistic. This device shines as a sleep tracker. As long as you are comfortable reading through your data and allowing at least one week to pass for you to obtain enough data to develop a pattern, then this device works well as does the accompanying mobile app. One of the big positives here is that ultrahuman is on their second generation ring versus other competitors of Oura. I would like to believe this means the company is on stable footing. I also want to point out there is no reoccurring subscription required in order to access all of the data collected about your body and health. It is all completely accessible within the mobile app. You are only responsible for paying for the ring hardware, that's it. So I was in the market for a smart ring, mainly to track my sleep but the Ultrahuman air ring does just that and my caffeine intake which helps drastically. I love the ease of use and the integration of the app itself! The best part is you don’t need a subscription which most smart anything’s need! This color is beautiful, elegant and very well made. I use it while exercising and have no complaints. Will say you should really be sure of the size since they don’t offer half sizes. I originally wore it on my index finger but I noticed the middle finger was better for me since I hold my phone and the ring can scratch my case less phone. I pick my battles. No biggie. Definitely recommend tho for anyone who likes convenience and high quality tech! ... show more

Bought this to replace my Apple Watch. But the heart rate monitor is wildly inaccurate. This places all measurements/metrics in question. I wore the ring with my Apple Watch and a polar heart rate monitor for 3 separate steady state workouts. The ring recorded my heart rate 20-30 bpm low throughout all of the workouts. Both watch and chest strap agreed on the rate throughout my workouts. I have reached out to customer service twice and received no reply. Additionally, the 5 zones for heart rates are not correctly calculating for my age. I’ve asked for this to be corrected as well, with no luck. I’ve asked nicely for support to contact me with no response. I’m open to revising my review if Ultrahuman can correct these problems. ... show more

4 APR 2024 update Here is an update on my experience after receiving my replacement Ring. 1. **Improved Battery Life:** One of the most notable improvements with the replacement ring is battery life. While it still falls short of the advertised six days, I'm now comfortably getting around four days with no issues. It's a significant enhancement from before, making the device much more practical for daily use. 2. **Consistent Outstanding Customer Service:** I'm pleased to report that Ultrahuman's customer service continues to shine. They've been responsive and helpful whenever I've had inquiries or issues, maintaining a high support standard. 3. **Skin Temperature Reading Still Inaccurate:** Unfortunately, the issue with skin temperature readings persists. Despite hopes for improvement, the readings remain unreliable, often showing my body temps in the 70-degree range. However, I've noticed that the presentation of this data in the app has changed. It indicates if readings are off the baseline, similar to other devices like the Apple Watch and Oura Ring. While this doesn't fix the underlying problem, it does make it less conspicuous. 4. **Surprisingly Resistant to Scratches:** This replacement ring's durability is an unexpected positive. Unlike my previous experience, scratches haven't been an issue with this new ring. Despite daily wear, it's held up well, which is a welcome surprise. Certainly not scratch-free, but better than expected. 5. **Active CEO/Team Presence:** The Ultrahuman team's presence on platforms like Reddit remains commendable. Hosting an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session a month ago demonstrates their commitment to engaging with the community and addressing concerns directly. Although I missed the AMA, I've followed up on the discussions, and it's reassuring to see such active involvement from the leadership. 6. **Firmware Updates and Battery Life Enhancements:** Recently, a firmware update was pushed to the ring, promising improvements to battery life. While it's too early to confirm its effectiveness, it's a positive sign that Ultrahuman is actively working to enhance the performance of its device. I'll monitor closely to see if this update delivers on its promises. The improvements in battery life and customer service are particularly noteworthy, although the persistent issue with skin temperature readings remains a concern. Nevertheless, with ongoing updates and a responsive team behind the product, I remain optimistic about its future performance and utility. 7 MAR 2024 update Customer service has been great. I mean damn great. So I will continue to allow them to make it right. We will see if my experience is changed with the replacement ring. Sadly this replacement ring is 1-2 weeks out. So I’m forced to live with bad body temperature data and daily charging until then. I appreciate the opportunity to share my experience using the Ultrahuman Ring Air. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite challenging, with two significant issues. Problem 1: The skin temperature readings consistently show in the 70s and 80s, which seems abnormal. I understand that your team has mentioned it might capture ambient room temperatures, but this aligns differently from other competitive products I've compared it to. I'm concerned that inaccurate skin temperature readings impact the overall data and health scores, potentially affecting the product's reliability. Problem 2: The battery drainage has been a persistent issue, dropping from 100% to 30% within a few hours on different days. I've had to perform factory resets and reach out for support, which has been inconvenient and frustrating. Given these challenges, I'm leaning towards returning the product at the end of this week.
