So far they’ve worked out great! I bruise easily and had severe bruises from kicking a bag right before I got them and now because I’ve worn the guards, the bruises have healed. I am so pleased with the price as well. They are a little awkward to put on but not too bad, though they fit well (I’m a 5’6” FM and got the S/M). They look as pictured. I was told after buying these that the "sock-type" shin guards like these tend to have a poor fit, but I've been using these for kickboxing for a year and never had them fall down or twist excessively in sparring. I throw a lot of round kicks in sparring and they seem to have good protection for kicking/checking without compromising mobility or traction. Good bang for the buck. They are a little thin compared to other pads but if you don’t use them a lot like myself it’s OK.

I really liked how these fit my leg, however, the padding is stiff and a little uncomfortable. I hope over time and use, the padding will mold to my leg.
