The mascara works well enough but has a strong smell. The formula doesn't clump on eyelashes and allows for multiple coats but remains waxy instead of drying. It lasts the day without smudging.

I had breast cancer surgery 8/30. Estrogen & progesterone pos. I have historically been a green girl, however it may not have been enough. No matter what, more self-education & changes were/are needed. I live on an extremely limited income. It has been a struggle to figure out how to swing necessary changes. Eating organic, supplements, hygiene/beauty supplies. As I began to tackle this last one I found ingredients in my "green" products that were classified as xeno-estrogens. & a word to those on a similar path, EWG has approved products that I would steer clear of.... Dig deeper. Do your homework. For example, why it is that phenoxyethanol is not ok to have in mascara yet is fine in body lotion or soap is beyond me. There are reasons given if looked into which I found no comfort in.... After all, we have pores & potentially a pathway to the blood stream. Paper cut, etc. Onto the mascara. As I searched EWG, the approved ones were upwards of 20.00! Now granted I don't know all that goes into making mascara that free of junk, so I will judge not. However, I do need to judge for myself. I went to the mascaras they rated at a 1 or 2 & found this. & I want to say "thank you!" to Rimmel & sellers who keep it at a price that women like myself can afford, as well as others who, knowingly or not, are engaging in cancer prevention. The color is great (black-brown) & it covers well. A little trick for when it gets clumpy (I think this comes with the "clean" territory as there is no junky stuff in them) seemingly prematurely - put it in a cup of warm-hot water a few minutes prior to use. Also, put a tissue over the opening while you have it open just to prevent it from drying out any faster. I imagine this goes for all/most mascara....

The brush on this wand is longer than most and actually makes application easier. Love the smooth consistency. Doesn't flake off. Lashes somehow look much longer and it lasts all day in very high humidity. I'm allergic to many mascaras, but this one hasn't bothered me a bit. It is not water resistant, as the description stated, but it's a fantastic mascara, nonetheless.

This is the best mascara!! I have not used traditional mascara for a few years (I have used physicians formula or honest company before this one). I think this might be one of the best mascaras I've ever used, natural or not! It smells like beeswax. It gives me so much volume and separation of the lashes, and stays on all day (10-12 hours). It comes off quickly and easily with soap and water. I am not sure if it is waterproof. I have used the Honest Company one prior to this and it was horrible compared to Rimmel Kind & Free brand. The Honest Company mascara was so hard to remove, burned my eyes when I would remove it, it also flaked off after a few hours and had minimal volumizing.

My eyes have never felt healthier ! I stopped using mascaras years ago because they hurt and irritated my eyes almost felt like I was allergic. So I got these since it described for sensitive eyes and wow does it work and feel great! It comes off easier than any mascara I’ve ever used before.

I was a bit hesitant when I bought this because the shape of the brush hadn't worked super well for me with other mascaras in the past, but I do get good volume out of this. I love the color, it's less dramatic than black while still being highly visible. I like the 'clean' aspect, too.
