I’ve tried more mascaras than I care to admit, and somehow I keep coming back to this one. The Rimmel Extra Super Lash Mascara in Black is one of those “simple but gets the job done” products. First off, it gives a really natural look. If you’re expecting dramatic, sky-high lashes, this isn’t that girl. But if you want something that separates your lashes nicely, adds a bit of length, and doesn’t look clumpy or overdone, it’s perfect. I like that I can build it up a little without it turning into a mess. The brush is classic and easy to use, which honestly feels like a relief in a world full of weird, spiky, bendy wands. It grabs even the smaller lashes without smudging everywhere. It also doesn’t weigh my lashes down, which is a big win. Wear-wise, it lasts pretty well throughout the day. I didn’t notice major flaking or smudging, and it removes easily at night without having to scrub my eyes like I’m trying to erase my past. Great Mascara

This is my new mascara. I used Big Lash for many years but this time when I ordered 2 Big Lash there was hardly anything in the tube. This is my new go to as it goes on easy, its nice and dark and comes off easily with soap and water.

Good inexpensive basic mascara

I like this mascara pretty well. It is really good for not being high end or expensive. I haven't found a mascara that I love yet (including higher priced ones), so sometimes I just go back to this basic one. Why pay more for something you like don't like as well as this?!

Not a bad mascara

I was hoping this would be similar to a Rimmel mascara I used back in High School, that I loved. It was a curling mascara, I remember there being swirls on the handle...I'm not sure if they make it anymore, but I haven't been able to find it. I ordered these thinking, for the price, might as well! As far as shipping, it was supposed to be same day, but I know that's probably almost impossible. It came in a day, so that rocks. They shipped me two, as well. Which means I received 4 total! I really want to be excited about having 4 of these, but it's just not the mascara for me. It's not bad as far a clumping, and that is a pretty big deal! The wand could use some work, but again, look at the price. For me, it bled a lot. I guess I should have gone with waterproof, maybe? I also was hoping for more lift. Not bad, I've tried much worse that cost 2 to 3 times as much. I finally have come to terms with the fact that it's worth it to splurge a little on the one piece of make-up most of us say we would use if we could only use one or two items. ... show more

I’ve been waiting to write this review. I’ve been using this for some years now and I must say it’s a must in my makeup drawer. It’s best for sensitive eyes. I can’t use certain makeup on my eyes and this is perfect for me. I love the look, great for curling eyelashes, although I have to curl them a few times to make them stick.
