This is my favorite mascara. It goes on nicely and gives some length. The only downsides are the tubes get old fast and the mascara starts to get dry and flaky. I have searched high and low for a mascara that would work for me. My lashes have thinned over the years, but I refuse to wear false ones. I've spent many dollars on mascaras from Ulta, Sephora, Walmart, and Thrive. I had almost given up on finding one that would do the job and give me lashes that I could at least see. I saw this one and decided to give it a try after reading many reviews. Didn't hold out much hope but what did I have to lose, especially since the price was so reasonable. I am so glad I did! This mascara really surprised me, and has been working like a dream. It goes on very easily, no clumping even after putting on two layers. My lashes appear long and what a difference! This Mascara has no bad smell, the brush is good and cost is great. However, the stickiness of the mascara on the brush makes me apply a thick paste on my eyelashes. It's okay if you brush them right away after applying and before it dries, but doing it every application is hassle and dirty on my make up. ... show more

I have used Rimmel mascara for many years. I change out a tube every couple of months, and it stays clump free. I have almost clear eyelashes, as I am so blond, so I choose black instead of brown…..I like the look. No liner, just mascara. And it is water based, so I take it off every night. Easy. I only put it on close to the ends because I have a very sensitive waterline, and it works great! The mascara does glob up a bit on the wand after a few days of use, so I wipe it off with a paper towel when I see it getting like that. This has been my favorite drugstore mascara purchase so far.
