I only own Riedel. They are the only brand I love. I waited an insane amount of time to receive this glass. It was bought very specifically to open a bottle of Screaming Eagle. It served its purpose. Once. While wiping the glass with my fingers under the sink, it came apart into a thousand beautiful shards. The water and the wine were of similar temp . Riedel has stood behind a brand new set of these glasses I sent to my mother-in-law. One was broken in transit and was immediately replaced. This glass makes a statement. It probably could take a whole bottle which is not the idea. Regardless of the wine, the taster simply has more surface area for the wine to breath. Caution- if the wine is mediocre, the glass is very unforgiving. But if the wine is good to great, the sensory aspects will be well appreciated. ... show more

Superleggero is a magical glass! Now I can not go back to any other glass to have sauvignon blanc. I must say that the magic effect for Loir is not as big as the one for Burgnudy or Bordeaux glass.... But I still love it and I will enjoy my sauvignon blac throughout the summer with the Superlegegero. I am so glad that Amazon US had this glass and was able to ship it to Japan. ... show more

Itโ€™s such a fragile glass of wine. The glass was shattered during the initial shipment. Then Amazon sent a second one. It arrived in one piece. When we used it for the first time, it broke during toasting (regular bumping with other wine glasses). The other wine glasses are just fine. What a mess.
