Love this tambourine-I have small hands and I can play this for 3 hours with comfort. In addition, sound is melodic and bright, cuts through guitars and drums nicely. Very pleased with this tambourine!

If you want a higher pitch sound, get nickel jingles like this one. Needed a lower pitch - less of the jingle bell sound-so had to return for brass jingles. The item itself, however, was well made, cushioned handle, good weight. Just not what I needed at the time. Same item was found at a local music store, so it seems to be a known brand. ... show more

I think this item is exactly how its described but of course we all have that one dislike. And for me it's the handle. I just wish it was a bit more comfortable to handle as this was a gift and the receiver had to alter it to make it more comfortable. I'm not sure if other tambourines have rubber, silicone, or something soft at the handle but this one was hard plastic. The construction of this tambourine is very nice and sturdy but again I wish the handle was easier to grab and hold. It is worth the price for sure, just that darn handle LOL. ... show more
