    • So fun, highly recommend
Color: Transparent Black
The only other retro console I've owned is the bitboy, and this RG28 makes it feel so cheap! The weight and build quality is fantastic, and the buttons all feel just right and are exactly as responsive as you would want. The screen is sharp and the glass over it is premium. It boots up quickly and has games pre-loaded, which is a huge plus for me. I downloaded an N64 rom (Mario, duh), and added it to the N64 folder and was able to then access the N64 emulator (it didn't show in the menu since there were no games pre-loaded). It ran so smoothly. I have small hands and the console still felt a bit small, especially when trying to access the top triggers, but this makes for an extremely portable device. Can't really have both, can ya? The battery life has been amazing. I haven't tried the HDMI output yet, and the rumor is that it has wifi, but I've also not explored this option yet. Can't wait to play around with this more. ... show more

    • Amazing Retro Console Christmas Gift 🎁
Color: White
I bought this as a Christmas gift for myself since I'm into old games, particularly pokemon, and I am honestly impressed. It runs smooth, supports many console emulators and comes pre-loaded with a lot of games. Nothing "Mario" is included but you can add the ROMs yourself into the SD card via a computer. Overall, I love I how small it is, making it the perfect gaming companion for on the go. I prefer this over emulator apps for the phone because there's less chance to be distracted by other things on the phone and the buttons and d-pad make it feel more authentic. I do recommend this for everyone looking to get a good retro console for a great deal, the value for the price is incredible and honestly I would have been willing to pay more now, knowing how powerful this little thing is. I've only used it for a day and a half and had to charge it 1 time so the battery is pretty good. There was only 1 game I tried playing that didn't open but that's ok... there are so many other games to choose from. It is small so keep that in mind if you have bigger hands, I have small hands so it's perfect for me. The little speaker is great too. This is my 1st retro console so I don't really have much to compare it to aside from emulator phone apps, but it does run better than the phone apps and the graphics are a lot smoother than expected! ... show more

    • So so sad it won’t turn on after a few uses
Color: Gray
Review Image by Chris
I loved this at first. This is my second product from anbernic and had high hopes but unfortunately after a couple times using it the product won’t turn on. I’ve troubleshoot everything and after doing all the tips and tricks found on their website the machine still won’t work. It’s too bad because the games were a lot of fun but it’s basically brand new and won’t turn on. ... show more

    • Great for a candy bar sized device.
Color: Transparent Black
Works great as a mini game system- after using a while it is uncomfortable to play for extended periods, but that’s to be expected for such a small device. It has many features of larger devices and the screen seems more detailed even though it is smaller. Build feels solid and more expensive than this unit cost. ... show more

    • I put risk of rain and undertale on it.(Legally)
Color: Transparent Black
This thing is great. I wiped the card and put muOS on it which allowed me to use portmaster. I can now play games like the original risk of rain 2013,shovel knight, undertale, and star dew valley on it. The screen is small so it might not be ideal for a everything but it's size is a selling point. You can have GBA and PC games on this little handheld in your pocket at all times. I don't go out without it. A lot of reviews I've seen on YouTube mention the buttons being small. They are and yet I never accidentally hit the wrong ones. You get used to this thing really quick. I wish it had built in WiFi and Bluetooth but you can't have everything especially at this price. It's a powerful little machine that does nearly everything and they didn't make a Gameboy micro with a analog stick which ruins the Gameboy micro aesthetic which is why I bought it. ... show more

    • Great for on the go retro gaming
Color: Gray
I had to exchange the first one I received because it did not have sound. If I plugged into the headphone jack the sound worked but not through the speaker. The exchanged unit has worked flawlessly. It's a bit on the small side for my hands but still plays great. It fits my kid's hands no problem. Some games would benefit from the analog sticks but basically any thing 16 bit has been excellent. ... show more

    • Not wanting to turning some times.
Color: Gray
It’s works I’ll give it that. Although It has a difficult time turning on. I had to fiddle with the SD card a bit to finally get it working. It’s works and plays great just needs fine tuning on the power button.

    • Perfect on the go device!
Color: White
Awesome and portable! I was kind of afraid of how small it would be but it's the perfect size for throwing in a bag and taking it on the go. The screen is super crisp and clear. The buttons feel and respond great. It's definitely small but not too small for comfort. Games run super smooth making it well worth the price. The build quality is pretty sturdy although I'd still put it in some kind of soft bag to carry around and avoid dropping it. Overall, very awesome device and well worth the price! ... show more
