Do not buy any wallets from this vendor. The wallet has a toxic smell that is so strong it’s unbearable and will give you a headache. The smell will not go away even after trying to wash it a few times which makes me wonder what did this company use to create it and how toxic it can be for a child. Even after I tried soaking it in laundry detergent for 24 hours and on a different day in vinegar for 24 hours the wallet still won.     • Strong Uncured Chemical Smell—maybe even toxic
This is a review of the product (not the seller), because until its heat-sealed, clear plastic envelope was opened this looked to be a very handsome, sturdy, desirable birthday gift for our young grand-daughter. It was shipped safely and quickly. However, this negative condition might not have been known. But, its materials do not seem to be properly made. I would guess that there was either an uneven mix of the plastic components in making up the cloth or the finished fabric was incompletely out-gassed when manufactured and then heat-sealed into its packaging (clear plastic envelope). This condition has often been encountered with vinyl coated fabrics, where the softener of what is normally a hard plastic (just like vinyl siding) has not been evenly mixed. The result here was a very disturbing and strong odor of possibly noxious/toxic chemicals, which made our birthday celebration dismal. I will not recommend this product to anyone — until tested. But, I do recommend that the seller check into: the quality control in the production of these wallets to insure that they are all not like this; the safety of this item before making any further distribution of them; and, if found safe, warn the buyer of the issue; or re-package the item so that the out-gassing can complete itself over time, before the item falls into the hands of a child. The odor of the wallet we received was repugnant. We are returning it as defective. I hope that our experience will not be repeated. ... show more

My 4yr old granddaughter kept taking my 6yr old grandsons wallet and hiding it in her purse. I had to keep taking it out for him. So, for Christmas, I decided, at the last minute, to purchase a wallet for her. This wallet is the real deal! I was impressed on how sturdy it was. It will secure your monies and has plenty of pockets for cards (in this case my granddaughters play money and cards). Just a cute nicely crafted wallet. Needless to say, It was a huge hit. When my granddaughter opened this gift, she screamed, "Yes, I got my own" and hugged the wallet. I didnt expect that reaction for a wallet but I'll take it! Lol. ... show more

My cousin asked for a wallet for Christmas and I bought this as a cheap little gag gift that I put in a box covered in tissue paper. And I put that box inside another box with tissue paper. Fast forward to four boxes later and a Victoria’s Secret bag with the real wallet (full of unicorn cut outs in it, let’s just say that it was a magnificent gift and he hates me lol. But as for the wallet itself it’s super sturdy and made of good materials and does not feel cheap or flimsy at all. So hard to find a wallet that for a boy that is not juvenile and not camo! Very sturdy and colorful. A super way to encourage saving while providing a central place to keep bills. Easy open yet secure.

    • Cute, but smelly
This is a really cute wallet for a little girl. However, it had a real strong chemical smell. I sprayed it with air freshener and aired it out for two days, before I even dared wrap it up for a gift.

I tried to return the wallet because it had such a strong chemical smell, but I lost it. Even after leaving it unwrapped for a week. I would not recommend. Originally was a gift to a 5 year old.
