  • It works !
Works fine! I tried it when I was shopping. Did tap to pay with this card next to my card and the reader could not even read it. This definitely works. Will try it again but so far so good!

  • The RFID Blocking Card Works!
The RFID blocking card is fashionable, well built (not flimsy), and the size of a credit. After testing a couple times, it worked! Tried at various point of sale (POS) systems with the card in front of my debit/credits & in the back of the card. It passed all times. Would highly recommend. A+

  • What is RFID blocking card and how does it work?
The media could not be loaded. Have I ever wondered how to shield my credit cards and personal information from electronic theft? The answer lies in RFID-blocking cards. But what exactly are they, and how do they work? Let's dive in. As I delved into the research for this review, I discovered the intricate workings of RFID-blocking cards. The mere presence of this technology in my wallet instills a sense of security, knowing that my credit cards and identification are shielded from potential threats. These cards, designed with a specific purpose, effectively thwart electronic theft of credit cards and the unauthorized leakage of identity information, offering a reassuring layer of protection. Here is what I investigated: How does an RFID blocking card? RFID blocking cards reduce the transmitted signal power of RFID readers, preventing the RFID card's microchip from functioning. Here's how it works: RFID Technology: Have you ever noticed that your credit and debit cards can be read without physical contact? That's thanks to a technology called RFID, or Radio Frequency Identification. RFID-blocking cards are designed to counter this technology. However, a significant concern has emerged- the possibility of covert reading of your cards, which has led to the development of security devices that block or interfere with this contactless reading. RFID Blocking Technology: Imagine a protective shield around your cards, like a force field in a sci-fi movie. This is what RFID blocking cards do-they create a barrier that prevents unauthorized scanners from accessing the information stored within the RFID chips. The shield blocks the radio waves used for communication between the RFID tag and card skimmers. By disrupting the signal, RFID-blocking technology renders the card unreadable by unauthorized devices. How It Works: When an RFID reader transmits signals, it powers up the microchip in the card. The microchip then sends data back to the reader. RFID blocking cards reduce the transmitted signal power, preventing the microchip from functioning. As a result, your data remains safe. Testing the Effectiveness: The device reads an unprotected debit card in a Flipper Zero test. Introducing an RFID-blocking card to your wallet is a dependable and potent measure to counter the RFID signal. A Flipper Zero test demonstrated its efficacy by preventing any data from being read. This test reaffirms the card's effectiveness, bolstering your confidence in its ability to safeguard your personal information. Even if the blocking card is behind the target card, it works effectively. RFID-blocking cards function as a fortress for your credit, debit, and ID cards, shielding them from unauthorized scanning by creating a robust barrier against RFID signals. They are a reliable and effective solution, preventing any covert reading of your card information and ensuring your peace of mind. After having this critical information, I am confident that these RFID-blocking cards will protect our credit cards from electronic theft and personal information leakage. ... show more

  • Simple and discrete protection
In today’s high tech environment, loss of your personal data can be costly. Adding RFID protection can prevent data thieves from skimming your credit cards, driver’s license and other data just by passing by you with their tools at the mall or the supermarket. A quick and easy way to protect yourself is to use this NFC debit card passport protector. This can be easily placed in the credit card slot in your wallet to block remote attacks from skimmers. The RFID technology jams any unauthorized signal from collecting your data. It is a unique way to protect your information passively. While I haven’t been able to test its effectiveness, this is a great way to protect yourself from identity theft and fraud. Its weight and size mimics that of a credit card. I like that the design is discrete and it is inconspicuous. This being a pack of five is also nice as it allows you to gift a card to multiple friends or family members. Lastly, I really like that these have a lifetime guarantee and it’s a simple way to protect sensitive personal info. This is a great buy, and I definitely recommend these. ... show more

  • These seem to work fine
These are the same dimensions as a credit card, and a similar thickness (maybe a tad thicker). While I don’t have a card skimmer to test with, I tested with a few of these between 2 iPhones, and it did block the Bluetooth signal that the phones use for passing a contact between them. My wife has an old wallet that she loves, that isn’t RFID blocking. These will help keep her cards safe. I do wish there were clearer instructions with these cards. In the back of each one it says “protect both sides of card” … does that mean that one RFID blocker will protect both sides of a credit card? Or do I need to sandwich a credit card between two of these blockers? If I need to use two, then why are there five of them in a package… since the odd one out will not be useful? Anyway I’m glad to have these for my wife’s wallet, and I’m glad there are enough of these for several wallets. ... show more
