  • Works on curly short hair
Since giving up Brazilian blowouts, Ive been trying to find something that came close that I could do myself. I tried Make it Straight a couple times but for the amount of time it took and for how long it lasted, I was over it. I googled top best at home relaxers and came across this one. The BEST thing is there's no two plus hours process time. It's 18 minutes. My hair is short and curly. Hate it. I didn't really bother to section it off before application because it is so short so I just ensured my hair was covered in it and combed it through. I left it on the full 18 min and then rinsed it out. I could tell it was straight before I got out of the shower. I'm so happy. I had zero burning or discomfort. I did line my hairline with petroleum jelly everywhere before application. I will use this again and for the price, you can't beat it. Very satisfied! ... show more

  • Excellent Product
This product is tried and true. I’ve used it for years and it never fails. It relaxes the hair beautifully.

  • Great product
I have very curly hair which I usually get straightened. With the way the world is I am not opting to sit for hours getting this done. I also have bangs. I bought this product primarily for my bangs and the top of the head. As suggested in other posts I used some Vaseline to protect the skin. I think I left it on for about 7 minutes. It worked wonderfully, Multiple shampoos later my bangs and top of my head are straight even after walking for a few miles in the humid weather. Would recommend without a doubt. ... show more

  • It's alright
Seems like a good product but I left it in my hair for 10 minutes instead of the 18 minutes. This was mainly because it started burning my forehead and sides and I felt the urge to shower before I was left with serious burn marks. I would recommend putting vaseline under your hairline around your forehead to avoid serious burn. There were some burn marks but nothing too serious. The cream did do a decent job for the 10 minutes I left it in, but it probably would've made my hair straighter if I left it in for about another 5 minutes. I would recommend to read the instructions very carefully and to have someone apply it on you. Also try watching some YouTube videos to make it easier. ... show more

  • Listen it works but be carful !!!
This is not one of those natural products that “kind of” works... no this is made with hardcore chemicals has lye and has a strong odor products... And well I love it it’s amazing... But you must be VERY CAREFUL while using it! If possible ask for help! -DO NOT just “glop it” on do small sections -DO NOT go over the time limit. -DO NOT get anywhere near your scalp -DO set a timer -DO use gloves and a comb /brush that’s insignificant - DO NOT get anywhere near your scalp, I can’t stress this enough I still have the scabs recovering underneath my new luscious hair... This was my fault with OTHER “natural” products I would apply them like shampoo rubbing it in .. BIG MISTAKE. head was on fire very tender for around 2 days then another 5-6 days for a few scabs to heal. The stronger version is perfect for thick coarse curly hair, I wouldn’t get it if you have thin semi wavy hair. All in all it works but DO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ... show more

  • Revlon Realistic Professional Conditioning Cream, 15 O
According to the advertisement on Amazon, this product was a simple hair conditioner. When it arrived, it said hair straightener under the title. I think this is very confusing and false advertising! I threw it away because if you leave it on over 3 minutes, it could burn your hair!!!
