I'm fairly light skinned with warm undertones. I usually go for a more nude lip. I got the gut instinct and it's more of a nude pink but it still looks nice. Also got the hot girl which is more of a nude red/brown. Definitely has a matte finish to it. It definitely holds up to the smugde proof. Didnt budge when i rubbed it off on my hand. I sometimes like to add a nonstick lip gloss over my lipsticks for a little shine. However doing that removed the smudge proof part. It smudged. But when i wiped off the gloss it mattifies again and becomes smudge proof again. Seemed to last a long time on my lips. Especially after wiping the lipgloss off and eating. As far as the color goes it matches pretty well with the item pictures so I'm happy about that. So far I love these lipsticks. Sometimes it's hard to find lipsticks that look good one me.

Color in picture is "in the zone"- I wear it almost everyday I like this lipstick- it is fairly vibrant and I'm satisfied with the long wear. I noticed that if I try to put more on top of color that is already on my lips it looks dry so I suggest to put a decent amount on and reapply on lips with very little to no lipstick. I don't find it drying. I ALSO RECEIVED A FEW LIPSTICKS THAT WERE IN THE BOX BUT THE SEAL OF THE TUBE WAS ALREADY BROKEN.
