First of all I was in an ATV accident at 16 and my face has deep scars and scar tissue . Any one with this problem knows foundation does not stick to your skin when tissue is like this. Revelon color stay covers my skin scar tissue and all really well. It goes on smooth and even . It's kind of heavy feeling but not a lot. Its coverage is the best. It stays on all day . Ordering makeup online can be a crap shoot, and in this instance the shade that looked perfect on my Computer, ended up being almost two shades too light in-person! And don't let the shade number fool you - I have another brand of foundation with the same number that's the exact shade this one Appeared to be, but they are not the same! So in order to use this product - which is great by the way - I mix it with a darker foundation to get the right shade. The foundation itself is almost like a serum and it spreads very smoothly. A little goes a really long way! It has a high-end feel to it and leaves my skin looking soft and fresh. I like the color of this Buff toned Revlon ColorStay Makeup. I'm a fair skinned natural blonde and even the Ivory color in this same formula is a bit light for me (hard to imagine since my husband calls me Powder). It does pay to look for the skin type in these makeups because the coverage is FULL coverage. I tend to have dry spots and the Normal/Dry Skin doesn't suck out the moisture as much as the Oily/Normal does. This does not give you a real dewy look and sometimes it appears almost chalky if I apply it too light. Great coverage however, it even works better than my existing concealer! ... show more

I've been using this product for years. It goes on nice and evenly, when it dries it looks very natural. I usually apply two coats because I have dark spots and a red tint to my skin. It lasts about 8 hours, not 24 like the bottle says. I reapply if I go out again after work. Holy grail foundation! I have very very dry skin so I bought the one for dry skin. This isn't a hydration dewy foundation on dry skin... it has a satin finish! It's full full coverage I usually just do one layer of this foundation and use it for event when I want something that will last forever and won't oxidize! This is hands down my favorite foundation and I have been using it for years. I'm a wedding photographer, so my normal day is like 12 hours in the hot sun in Napa, sweating and running around. This is the ONLY foundation I have found that will stay on all day without needing to be reapplied, even over a base of SPF 100 sunscreen.
