I was recommended this foundation for cosplay purposes due to its large shade range and affordable price. When I purchased this in the shade Oatmeal, I wasn't expecting it to match me perfectly since I had been shade matched with a different shade on the Revlon website, but it was on sale and I figured I could at least test the formula before giving it to someone else. Turns out that it matches me perfectly if I'm not trying to brighten my skin, which is exactly what I was aiming for. I'm naturally cool toned and pale but live in a sunny area where my warm, tan overtone can make finding foundation matches difficult. The formula itself is very nice. The foundation is fairly liquid, not a super thick consistency, which allows me to paint it on in thin layers on my skin. After setting for a bit, it stays on very well, and can be built up with another thin brushed or sponged layer for extra coverage. It works so well with any silicone based primer (I use elf's poreless putty primer) and lasts a long time. I am in love with this makeup. When I started wearing makeup, I wore Max Factor Pan Stick. It was a large container and was like, maybe, $6.00. Then, they went overseas, and to get it, it was a tiny container and very expensive. Then I found this. It is the only thing I will wear. It is lightweight, sheer, easy to spread, adds a nice moisture to your skin, has sunscreen in it, does not run in the summertime (which is very important to me), has a wonderful matte finish, and when I wear it in combination with my particular powder, looks like I do not have makeup on in the best way possible. Everyone always asks what I am wearing. My Pan Stick was nice, but I am obsessed with this foundation. There are such a great variety of colors, and truly is for long wear. This foundation and a tiny bit of a blue pigment from LA girl makes almost a perfect shade for us olive people that have a hard time finding foundations (they pull either orange or pink.) It’s a medium to full-ish coverage but can be worn as a light coverage as well if you use a damp beauty sponge and lightly dab it all over the areas you’re trying to “fix”. It doesn’t irritate my rosacea and it doesn’t crease either. Holds relatively well during workouts too, unless your face sweats like crazy - that’s when I see it break in a few places (super intense HIIT or leg day.) I got the color 180. This is a thick full-coverage foundation that melts into your skin, giving you the ability to layer, if wanted. I have genetically dark under eyes, so I always apply this with two to three layers of concealer (Anastasia Beverly Hills) to get my look. That’s a lot of makeup, but because they blend so nicely, it really works and doesn’t look too cakey. The pics attached are after a full day in July in Florida outside at the beach, sweating, wiping, blotting, and I am fully impressed. I usually use IL Makiage and Lancome, which are great for cold climates but seperate in hot himid climates. I had to find something that wouldn't seperate on my face after sweating all day. As you can see I have mature skin, wrinkles, and large pires on my nose. I always have issues on my chin (because on touch it allot) and my nose because of my pires and where my glasses sit. But with Revlon 24hr wear it didnt seperate or rub off where my glasses sat, my chin, nose and forehead, still had makeup on after a full day of sweating, rubing, scratching, eating, and trying on hats. It didnt rub off on my hands or my clothes. The secret, I noticed, is to have a clean dry face, I applied with a beauty sponge, let dry, then put setting powder on top to finish. These pictures are unedited, raw, flaws and all so you can see what kind of skin this works on. I have normal skin, not oily and not dry, and I chose the lightest they had available because of my skin tone, and I have redish/pink undertones, and this color worked perfect.
