I began using Revlon Color Stay Gel Polish in Sky's the Limit in 2015, and though I have dozens of other colors and brands, I can't help choosing it nearly every time I redo my nails. It's a subtle, slightly metallic blue that coordinates well with my wedding, graduation, and birthstone rings, and it is extremely durable. Though I do a great deal of housecleaning, cooking, and daily hand washing, it lasts about three days before wearing at the tips. This is even more impressive considering that I usually don't bother with topcoat. It used to cost $5-6 at Walmart and Target, but these days it's hard to find in stores; and the online price is $7-12, which isn't very much but suggests this color may have been discontinued. I'm glad to find it here! Update: I'm still hooked on Sky's the Limit one year later and just purchased four bottles--so happy the price has dropped to $4.90. Beautiful, durable polish! ... show more

Absolutely LOVE this nail polish!! It goes on so smooth!! My nails don't keep polish on well but this seems pretty normal. I bought this brand once at walmart and have been hooked ever since! I recently bought three more colors, one for a friend, and have been using them like crazy!! I am about to order two new colors and a topcoat!! It does take a while to dry tho. That is my only dislike. Tip: Use the color: JACKPOT over any other color to make it glittery! I have loved every color I have tried this way! ... show more

I bought this because I wanted a blue polish and the price was right. Didn't hope for much, because I generally think nail polish claims (no matter the brand) are inflated. I was pleasantly surprised. The color is really lovely on, and it did actually wear extremely well. I think I got a full five days of wear, on the sixth day I decided I wanted a change; the blue was still good. The photo shows it worn alongside (index finger--two coats), and over Revlon's Super Lustrous "Totally Toffee" (ring finger--one coat of each, with Sky's the Limit on top). I'm the worst at doing my own nails, So i haven't bothered doing them myself in decades.. with this lockdown, I had no choice but to.. these polishes are so beautiful, and so easy they're fool proof! I'm actually becoming quite good at making my nails look professional, ive been buying Revlon nail polishes up like I have stock in the Revlon company.. though the longevity isn't the absolute best, the formula and colors are quite impressive, and easy to touch up. It's really pretty when it's on, and I really like the shiny color of the blue. It said it was supposed to last for 7 days though and I still have chipped nails after day 5. I was really hoping that it will last for the full 7 days before it started to chip. It's time to remove it though.

Went on smooth and pigment is dense for good coverage, I use it to identify cables so it worked well enough to cover up black plastic. Cheaper brands sometimes have too much bleed through and require too many coats for coverage.
