I am 24 and have recently been prescribed Retin-A, and have been experiencing side effects like inflammation and flakiness (it felt like my face was on fire). I was looking for something gentle enough to prevent further irritation but potent enough to actually clean and prevent breakouts. For the last 6 weeks I’ve tried various cleansers by neutrogena, Clinique, and cetaphil, but they all caused breakouts or dried out my already irritated skin. I have been using this face wash for 2 weeks and it has drastically relieved the side effects of Retin-A. My skin is still dry and flaky from the medication, but it’s no longer visibly noticeable! The redness and inflammation have completely disappeared I never had terrible acne, but I’ve been plagued by monthly breakouts (caused by my period) for as long as I can remember. For the first time in my life, I got my period without a single pimple. It’s only been 2 weeks, and the changes I’ve noticed are miraculous in comparison to drugstore products I’ve used in the past. My skin is healing and it looks brighter and healthier. My mom and sister have commented on how quickly my complexion has improved.
