I have been using these on a nearly daily basis for a month, for heavy bag work. So far, I like them quite a lot. I will say I probably could have ordered medium instead of large. I have probably average size hands, but I ordered large b/c I find that work gloves any smaller than large are too small. In this case, I have a little extra material around the wrist, although my hands fit snugly into the glove. Due to the generous velcro on the wrist straps, I am able to get a snug fit around without discomfort. Things that speak well for these gloves: *Stitching appears to be robust, with no failures after a month of use. *Light enough so that they don't slow your striking, but plenty of padding on the knuckles. *No visible wear on the punching surface so far. *Wrist straps can be tightened to preference, allowing for good support if you need it. I would add that it's good to have some tape on your hands when using these--the fabric on the inside of the glove can get a little abrasive, especially if you are power punching on the bag. Overall, these have performed very well.

They have a nice fit, and a nice grip. I bought another pair from a "high end" competitor just to test because I'm requiring these hybrids in my dojo now. These blew the others that were leather away on fit. They also have the padding in the correct locations. Light and nice. I teach karate and judo, with some jiu jitsu. We used to use the standard foam sparring gloves. I'm not sure how those ever became standard. Admittedly, I have a bunch of sets of the foam. I'm going to spend the next two years replacing them. Revgear also makes kids gloves, if they are as good as these. I will be using revgear exclusively. I have no connection with revgear other than purchasing these gloves.

The product is of average construction and appears ok but honestly these gloves are not comfortable for me even for a short 45 minute training session. My fingers turn numb after about 30 minutes so that to regain feeling I have to remove the gloves. I ordered large and have average size hands. Do not know if I would have the same experience if I had ordered one size larger. I have little problem getting the gloves on...a little tight...but other than that no real problem. These are my first pair of open finger gloves. I also experienced some soreness in the knuckles if striking hard and some pain in the wrist because you do not get the wrist support of a hand wrap. I will probably try a glove from a different maker...maybe spend a little more and better construction...to see if the fit is better. Some people may have no issues with these gloves.
