We purchased this for your 9 year old daughter who has been asking for a skateboard. I was a little shocked at the size, but after a few trips on it, I think it is okay for a beginner, but make take a little longer to get use to. Seems very sturdy, cruises wells, and overall great product.

For a first longboard, this is great. I work with roller skates and know a little about bearings and trucks, and making adjustments to fit the individual style. Not a fan of the bearings. First thing I did was up graded for a smoother ride. Other then that. This is a fun board. I'm happy with the way it holds my feet and really makes it easy to carve. Not to heavy also. The media could not be loaded. Note: please tighten the board screws before riding. The board came with loosen screws i tightened them before riding or it could have gone bad. Other than that the board is really well made. The bearing are top notch and ride really smooth and for long. The board also goes faster since it’s a long board. It is also light Weight and easy to carry around if needed. It’s great for cruising around campus for any longer travel distance. It is less tiring then small boards. ... show more
