This has been inflated and hanging from the garage ceiling along with the rigid plastic kayaks for 2 months now. It shows no signs of deflating. It's sturdy, has lots of room, and is light enough for me to haul around from truck to shore with no great effort. My only gripe is that I cannot figure out all the air inflation connectors other than the main chambers. I'm sure once I get them right just once, it will seem obvious, but some detailed illustration of how they fit together would have been helpful. The material appears rugged to the touch, and the bottom has a material shield that goes from bow to stern for added puncture protection. Seams are tight, consistent and show no signs of delamination or inconsistency in production.

This is my second inflatable. My first one was cheaper but not as study as this one. This one is tough man and sturdy. Easy pump up, under 2 minutes. I love the length and practicality. It’s well worth the money

I like the kayak but I have some questions that I have sent to Retrospec. The kayak appears to be well constructed of quality materials but the outer layer on the bottom of the kayak is very loose. I don’t know yet if it by design or it is a flaw in this kayak. It seems that it would glide better on the water if it was taut. I am waiting for an answer from Retrospec. The sides are wide so paddling takes some practice to not rub your knuckles but that could be the operator 😊. The kayak is very stable, not tippy, the seat is comfortable and the overall quality is good The foot brace is too small to be very effective but I think it can be changed out. Retrospec responded and asked for pictures. I inflated the kayak in my living room and these are pictures after inflation. Retrospec said it looks fine. I disagree. This is not like the advertisement pictures of the kayak that show a very taut bottom. I’m debating whether to buy another one to see if it’s better. Sigh.

I love this kayak! If you are looking for something that is great quality and pet friendly, I highly recommend purchasing this brand. I already own one of their paddle boards, so I was pleased to find their single kayak leaves space for your furry friend. My dog is a 52lbs shep/lab mix and she has enough room to sit/lay comfortably.

This kayak is made better than we thought. It fits both of us and my 2 small dogs with ease plus supplies. It is comfortable to sit in. We haven’t had it in water yet but are looking forward to it when we go south. Waterways are frozen here. Easy to inflate.

I have one star because giving the 0 stars it deserves isn't an option. It does NOT keep you floating. It sinks about 30 minutes after you get on the water. There's nothing fun about paddling a bathtub full of water when there's no where to get help but to keep going for another half an hour. It's total garbage, and that's where mine went as soon as I got off it.

I really like the convenience of this inflatable kayak. It’s very easy to set out and inflate with a manual pump. No more than 10 minutes of my time. Packing it up is just as easy. This takes such a small amount of space for transport and storage. I’ve only used it 4 times since I bought it but it gives the impression of quality and makes me think it will last many summers. It’s very stable when you’re in it on the water. I think my only complaint is that I would prefer it to be more rigid. It only inflates to 1.5 psi. You cannot stand up in while out on the water. But for the price this thing has been great!
