  • Possibly the best $180 I've ever spent
I was a little nervous when I ordered this but I'm really glad I did. The console is easy to install and use and the seller included some very helpful instructions. A large majority of the games work perfectly and only a few that I've tried haven't worked so far. But there are so many games and so many options that it's "merely a fleshwound" to quote Monty Python. I love being able to play great video arcade games at home; you simply push "select" and it's like adding a quarter. You can save your game as well which gives this system an advantage over old consoles and cartridges when playing RPGs, my favorite genre. I've been burned a few times ordering RPG cartridges with dead memory batteries. Over the past few years I've spent tons of money buying cartridges so I can play old games so the $180 spent on this should end up saving me quite a bit in the long run, as long as this console has some longevity (knock on wood). Overall I can't express how happy I am with this product so far. ... show more

  • Great Retro Device
Just got this and it seems fantastic. User interface is polished with a rotating soundtrack. No issues loading consoles and games. Library includes even lesser known and obscure titles.

  • Worth every penny
I ordered this about a week ago and it came it today and I’ll be honest it’s amazing, just a couple of cables and it’s ready. It does as what’s advertised plays thousands of games, and it has a easy built in menu plus a favorite option so you won’t have to scroll for your favorite game each time One thing to note if you wanna play Nintendo 64 games properly you’ll have to install a different controller, and also when I first turned it on it stayed at the HDMI screen but I hit the switch again and it booted right up, me and my friend played for hours Overall it’s a steal, thanks Leo! Great product. ... show more

  • Not for the novice or beginner.
When I first received the item and plugged it in it did not work. The SD card was no good. I sent a message through Amazon to the seller and they responded within an hour and very quickly sent me out a replacement that came in just 2 days. I would buy from this seller again. As for the game system it is very intimidating with everything that it does. The Seller has loaded it up with so many games it will be impossible to get to play all of them. Previous reviews I have read stated that a lot of games do not load or do not play well. I have found that on some of the game lists like the N64 you can choose different emulators to launch the game file from. Some games that do not play on the default emulator you can just choose another from the list and it has on almost all the ones I have tried Launched and I was able to play them. This system is plug and play for the most part however there is so much that can be changed and so many options on how to play or controllers to setup that I would suggest that if you do not have much computer knowledge or need something simple to operate, don't get a raspberry pi. But if you love to explore options and have the ability to research new things then this is the Game system to get. My Favorites are most of the old DOS (Disk Operating System) games from back in the 80's and 90's. Plug in a Keyboard and your good to go. All in all this is a Great System. I bought the Pi3B+ and I am not sure if I should have went with the Pi4 but I am very happy with what I have so far. ... show more

  • This thing is absolutely awesome
So I can’t put what I didn’t like because there is not one thing that I didn’t like. It is exactly as advertised plug and play. To the maker of this product a great big thank you because I bought it for my birthday just turned 58 and every penny was absolutely worth it. My age is important because when Pong came out by Atari that was in 1972. So I was nine at the time but I also remember all the arcades for gaming in Atlantic City I live in Philadelphia. This was before the casinos took over. So you had arcade games then and you had the Home console version. The most amazing part about this product is the fact that they were able to put both versions in this product. So with this product there is a sort of Time Machine affect. I also remember when I got older and started dating going to the movies and while you waited for the movie for its next showing you would go across the street to the arcade and spend your coins over there. As a gamer certain games remind you of certain things you were doing at the time. Now imagine if you will add 58 how many memories I get to relive because I have 140,000 games to bring them back. Also an extra bonus is the fact that certain games you played you either couldn’t play the other Version because it was made in Japan or someplace else. Sometimes another part of the game would come out but it wouldn’t come out over here. But now you get to play all those games you never got to play. Like that guy says when he’s selling his software for computers when he says buy my product. I’m being a spokesman for the makers of this product and I am saying to you if you read this by their product. You absolutely won’t regret it I guarantee it. ... show more

  • Nostalgia Well Worth the Money
I am an avid video game player—especially older system, retro games. This system was exactly what I have been looking for. The massive selection of games astounds me, especially when you think about how each them used to reside on cartridges bigger than this retro pie box. Thank you for pulling this together! The build is high quality, the number of games is overwhelming, and the nostalgia are well worth it. I have only noticed one or two titles so far that didn’t work. However, they are grossly overshadowed by the number of ones that do work. If you are looking for all of the NES game catalog like I was, then look no further. ... show more
