This is actually awesome. The screen quality is much better than the old dot matrix screens I grew up with in the 90s! haha! I didn't get too far into the list of 400 games, but I will say that Tetris and Mario are authentic versions and play well. The buttons are VERY responsive, just like the original gameboy/NES controller would be. There is no screen lag either and no loading time. The handheld did freeze on the language select screen, I decided to volume down - which took a minute to find. Not sure if it was the amount of time I took or what, but once you get into your language "English" or "Chinese" it's fine. You can scroll through 400 unique games that are NOT alphabetically organized, but who cares?! Some of the games are odd and may be remakes or reskinned versions, but they function. The battery is rechargeable via a micro USB (not USB-C). The screen is backlit and similar in quality to the gameboy advanced SP! Pretty cool. I like this a lot. Pretty cool device for the price! I love that it is USB rechargeable! When it boots, every time it makes you choose between Chinese and English. This is a little bit annoying but OK. Controls are simple and easy to understand. There is, thankfully, a volume knob on the side so you can keep your friends happy. The number of games is staggering! Lots of old favorites included. A few of the games lock up consistently/randomly, but most run really well. The screen is good (looks much better than my picture). I really love this console! ... show more

This brought me back to my GBAdvanced days, it functions pretty well. Its not too small or bulky and for the graphics from then - the picture is great! I havent gone through all the games yet, however most of them seem to be the platformer mario esque game, for the price and durability its totally worth it.
