    • Not even worth the one star!
Color: Green Transparent
When you load a lot of the arcade games, they load sideways, and there's nothing in the instructions about how to fix that, but it is fixable, so whatever. However, a lot of games load in Spanish, and there is no way to change that. A lot of games also load to the classic "Insert Coin" screen, and of course you cannot actually insert a coin, so it takes you to the game over screen after a few seconds and you never get to play the game --no way to fix this problem either. Other games ask for a special memory card that doesn't come with the system, and you cannot play it without it. Some of the other games autoplay without you having to touch the controls. All of these problems prevent you from being able to actually use this device to play the games at all. It is just one problem after another. Efforts to contact the company for assistance were futile as well, as they never responded to any of my messages. ... show more

    • Good for the price

Seems to work well right out of package, so far no issues, I like how many games are available already installed, also a very nice screen, for the price, not a bad deal.

    • Worth the price

I would say all and all a worthy purchase. The selection on the console games like N64 or PS1 or small but it has a decent selection of GBC and GBA games and a bunch of arcade games and stuff. Shouldn't be to hard to add roms. Screen is clear and sound is good, good quality material.

    • Its great, until you realize a few things....
Color: Transparent Green
The RG Nano is capable and thats awesome. But there are a few designer flaws. There is no internal storage so the device runs entirely off of the SD card, Operating system and all. A tiny bit of internal storage would help with the machine not corrupting every time I want to use it. The sound quality is great but the games I remembered playing arent already on the decvice. Most of the games installed are in another language or games nobody would play in thr modern day. Value for money is fine but it could have been better for the price they were charging, I am expecting 1GB internal storage just for the Operating System and emulators. This product might stand the test of time but with big drawbacks ... show more

    • I needed me some Digimon World 3...
Color: Retro Black
It has a good weight, buttons feel good, joysticks are an awesome addition on its Gameboy like frame. Sounds great but the audio does peak during more demanding cut scenes. Feels a little small in the hands. It runs right out the box, games added and pre installed run smoothly. There's a lot to choose from, and some childhood favorites are already here like Spyro and Crash. The handheld feels solid, but I still wouldn't want to find out how tough or fragile it is. Even my mom and my daughter play some games on it. It's a little treasure. The thing I personally dislike is getting no warning before the battery dies. Save often to avoid getting pissed about lost progress. You can only see the battery during gameplay by bringing up the retroarch menu. It's also the default button to hold to use shortcuts for fast forward, slow mo, save and load states, and screen shots. It's referred to as button 8 but nothing else I've seen makes it clear that the M button is button 8 other than process of elimination. ... show more

    • **DO NOT BUY**
Color: Transparent Green
DO NOT BUY! Never even turned on for me. Tried charging it but it still wouldn't work. All I got was a black screen. This is over price junk and a scam. Returned it an hour after opening. Very disappointed.

    • Mini Gameboy!
Color: Transparent Green
I came in with the understanding that this is a tiny system and some games aren't going to be practical to play - which I was ok with because I have a larger emulator that can fill that role. Primarily bought this for quick pick up and play Gameboy classic and color games, to essentially be that Gameboy I took everywhere when I was a kid. Size is small, hardly notice it in my pocket. In the hand it feels very solid. Buttons are a bit tiny but I've been able to quickly adapt. Haven't fully seen the lifespan of the battery but reportedly gets 2-3 hours of battery life. A bit short but I'm not going to be playing a full 2-hour session on it, more of something to play on break at work, in line, or waiting when out and about. Screen is very bright, ended up bringing it down to its lowest setting, also will help with battery life. Overall, happy with this device, can relive some of the classics I played growing up! ... show more
