Edit: the Amazon store contacted me after leaving the review and apologized for the miscommunication. They were kind and offered a replacement. The new product was received today. I will use it for the next few days and update further. BUYERS BEWARE: I bought this product a little over a month ago and just opened it last week to prepare for an event. I used it 4 times without issue and it worked well. When I plugged it in yesterday to use it again it did not turn on. I switched outlets and still NOTHING! I tried contacting the resiners manufacturer who referred me to Amazon, I tried contacting Amazon and they referred me to the Amazon store, I contacted the Amazon store and they referred me back to Amazon.     • It works
So I got mine. It does speed up the time immensely on my resin pieces. I've learned to not over fill the trays as you need the air space. I have the deeper trays which are so much better! They are for 1 deeper, 2 the center doesn't stick up. They do tell you to fill your resin mold while sitting on the tray which is a good idea, however, make sure you have the tray, top side up. They are not marked top or bottom so if your new to using this pay attention to this first before using the tray to place your molds on. I didn't and ended up with resin spilled everywhere trying to remove my mold that was already filled just to flip the tray around. Please make sure you use yours also or try it out. My power dial doesn't work and I can't exchange it as it's over the 30 days. So I just have to plug it in and unplug it each time. This isn't a bad little resinator. It gets the job done and I have even used it with making silicone molds and it worked great. So this is a somewhat versatile little machine. I am glad they made the deeper trays as some molds are taller. I do wish this was still bigger, but if your limited on space and you are looking for something to help you get your resin work done quicker, this little machine is good. Ok. Update. I have used to quite a bit. The trays do dip down creating an uneven cure, especially when things heat up and the trays curve or dip to the center. I've had several projects come out lopsided, uneven and needing more work then expected. 2 days before Christmas, working on Christmas gifts, because my dials haven't worked to turn the unit in from the beginning, I typically had to unplug it. Even turning off the surge protector I had it plugged into, I couldn't get it to come back on after using it twice that day and had to wait about half hour. Very disappointed.     • Trays are not level but good customer service
Because the trays are not level, in order to make sure resin pieces don't cure lopsided, I've had to let them soft-cure before hard-curing them in this machine. I have also found setting the time and temperature and then turning it on somewhat confusing. Other than that, this machine has significantly reduced cure time and allows me to be more productive. I typically use a slower curing resin and have found that if I let pieces cure long enough that they won't change shape (4-8 hours, depending on the resin) and then use the machine to finish curing, I have a fully cured piece within 6-10 hours. This is a vast improvement over the three days it takes without the machine. It's not perfect but it works fairly well for what I need. Update: the seller has reached out to me to address my issue with the machine and I'm pleased with the solution they offered.     • Only negative is the trays
I was super excited to get this so I could stock up on product faster. The machine itself works. I left my pieces in there for about 15-30 minutes once the full AI cycle was done. Some were fully hardened and some I set aside and they took just a little longer to fully set but did just fine. My problem (and I see other complaints on this as well) is the trays. Yes, I do wish the whole thing in general was bigger. But the lip around the center hole made it so I couldn't fit even some of my smaller trinket trays in. I had to put empty coaster molds in first and set the tray mold on those to be able to fit. But the BIGGEST problem is that the trays are uneven. I have 1 tray that is fairly level but the other 2 definitely are not. I didn't notice right away out of excitement that this machine worked. But I pumped out 3 rounds of earrings and trays yesterday and looking at them now I can see how uneven they are. Some aren't so bad but others are worse. I can't sell any of these now. I might just try the food dehydrator hack instead if I can't figure out something for these trays. UPDATE: Excellent customer service! They reached out to me to offer me new trays. However, at that point I had already ordered a food dehydrator which does the same thing and offers more space. I did have an issue with the wire trays in that as well but because of the size and shape of a food dehydrator it was much easier to work around and create my own shelves to fit in the unit. So because of the size and the way I can set it up, I did stay with the dehydrator and returned this machine. I didn't believe all the hype about this machine and I should have. It is fairly easy to use. It heats or cools (cant remember which) the resin to dry it. I am pleased at how much faster this makes the drying process
