Have owned for several months now and they work great except for the mute button, but we had trouble with that on the old original one, so maybe its not the remote... hence the 5 starts. I purchased the Universal for LG Smart TV Remote Control Replacement (Pack of 2) after my original remote disappeared somewhere into the void between the couch cushions—an ecosystem known to consume socks, dignity, and now apparently electronics. When the package arrived, I felt powerful. TWO remotes. I thought, “This is it. I am about to regain authority over my television.” Reality update: I am still not in charge. Pros: Came with two remotes, which is great because I immediately lost one to the same dimension as the original Worked instantly, which honestly felt suspiciously easy for something involving technology Buttons are satisfyingly clicky, like I’m negotiating with the TV instead of commanding it Cons: The TV still sometimes ignores me, emotionally if not technically One remote has already merged with the couch permanently I now have to search for the remote before I can search for the remote Overall, 10/10. A wonderful replacement for the original solar powered Samsung TV remote. We ordered this remote because the original remote frequently displayed the "battery low" message, even when placed near a sunny window. This particular remote has the three App Launch buttons for "Netflix, Prime Video and Hulu" which are the three services that we have. They work immediately, negating the need to use the icons at the bottom of the TV screen. Very handy! The pairing process worked perfectly on the first try. The remote is ergonomically comfortable to hold and use. It is well constructed with a solid feel to all the buttons and the volume and channel up/down paddles. Highly recommend.
