i’m quite pleased with this remote. i was skeptical because of the price, but it seemed like such a better & cheaper alternative than the real firestick remotes. i was questionable about the compatibility because i have such an old fire stick, but it does say that it’s compatible for all fire sticks. & that is true. it’s quite larger than the regular firestick remote (which i’m happy with) maybe i won’t lose this one as easily. all of the buttons work well besides the volume up and down (which i think is my fault because my tv is from like 2011.) i’m sure the buttons would work for quite literally any newer model tv. it’s definitely worth $8, and the quality is better than i expected.

If you’re sick of paying for a bunch of subscription services, satellite, cable, etc then a fire stick is a great option! I have gifted them to my mom, dad and step mom, aunt, two uncles, my brothers etc. They all really like them, they are a great gift for that person that’s hard to buy for, you can add various free channels and all types of options, make sure to clear the cashe regularly and you will be problem free!

I expected the low price and odd brand might suggest a lack of quality and/or difficult set-up. Well shame on me. This thing worked and I love the additional buttons for networks at the bottom, something the original remote that came with my FireStick lacked. There were three set-up choices in the instructions. I chose what seemed to be the easiest. It worked as described. There was a second or two when I thought it wasn't happening, then it popped right into working order. So just take a breath and wait. Guess it had to think about it first.

This worked great since our puppy chewed up our previous remote. We have the Amazon fire stick and needed a replacement remote. This had all the features and was easy to program in. Would recommend!

My wife somehow lost the remote for the fire stick 4k so we took the one from the regular fire stick in the bedroom so I got this to replace the bedroom remote. It’s set up just a tad different than the fire stick ones but it works just the same, very easy to pair to the tv and all that and it’s just some of the buttons are placed differently.
