Dewalt replacement batteries are great but rather pricey. I’m not a tradesman — just a homeowner who uses his tools sparingly so battery fit & price is important to me. You can’t beat the price here versus OEM. This battery fits my 20v Dewalt tools & charger just like the original. It’s hard to compare in terms of service life but even if it doesn’t last as long, I’m still ahead of the game cost wise. Give this battery a try!

Product works as described when fully charged but with use and discharge of battery in the 2 bar range the stability of the amperage fails and the battery goes dead. Devices will then be able to restart but when torque is applied the battery again dies.

I carry a separate bag of batteries in my truck so I am never stranded if I don't have access to AC power. I have been using this battery and another non-OEM one I have, and I honestly can't tell the difference. To date I have had zero issues with this battery. The jury is still out on the longevity of the battery life. I went ahead and rated it 5 Stars because as of this writing I have had no issues at all.

DESCRIPTION: 6.0Ah 20V Battery Replacement for Dewalt Battery Lithium Ion Cordless Power Tool Battery PROS: It works and functions just like an original (OEM) DeWalt battery. I love the battery level indicator. CONS: None. WHAT’S IN THE BOX: The battery and instructions. REVIEW: I’m not sure what else I can say about this battery except that it works! It fits on all my tools just like the OEM battery. It fits on my OEM charger as well as a third-party 4-port charger I have. No problems. I just love having an extra battery. I haven’t noticed a difference in the battery duration from my OEM batteries. That’s a difficult thing to assess since I rarely use a battery all day from full charge to needing to be charged. For my use, this battery functions great. I have always been an OEM kind of person. But I tried this product, and it works great. It makes me rethink my OEM mantra. AMAZON PHOTO/DESCRIPTION ACCURACY: The photo and description are accurate. VALUE/VERDICT: If you are in the DeWalt cordless echo-system, then you will likely need to pick-up an extra battery at some point. This is a good one. And the price at $37.97 is fantastic.

I use a number of Dewalt power tools. This battery was about 75% charged upon its arrival. It charged easily and only got slightly warm. The indicator lights easily provide a quick indicator of the charge capacity remaining. While I have not used this battery until it shuts down, It is holding up well and easily goes the distance. So far…I am very pleased. MY PERSONAL COMMENTS: I am an approved Amazon Vine Member. We are provided the opportunity to order (free of charge) many items that are new to the market, or where a seller just wants some additional exposure for their product. We are NOT required to review every item in exchange for using it. I personally only order products that are important to me (and/or my wife), items I can use or items that I have the ability to properly test (I have lots of test equipment). This battery is a great value replacement for the OEM. It fits all my tools perfectly and charges on the factory charger. It may be because it's new, but it outlasts my OEM batteries by a noticeable amount. You can't go wrong with this. Great battery ad an awesome price. I will buy more.
