Picked this up as a replacement for my Snapper 82V mower battery after dealing with issues on the original one. That battery ended up being a lemon, and the warranty replacement process took way longer than it should have. Now that I’m out of warranty, I needed a reliable replacement without needing to worry about wait times. This one has been a great swap. It looks very similar to the original battery and fits without any issues. It charges quickly using the original charger, no compatibility problems there. What stood out most is the runtime. I’m actually getting a bit more use out of this compared to my original battery, which was a nice surprise. Overall, no complaints so far. Works as expected and has been a solid replacement. We'll see how it holds it charge over time.

I have a couple of Snappers 82V power tools, specifically a Trimmer and a Blower. I'm always happy to have more batteries, so when this one came up for review, I was happy to oblige. This battery arrived relatively well packaged and in good condition. The battery charge indicator showed about 3/4 full, so I put it straight on the charger. It charged for a bit and safely shut off at full capacity. There was no significant heat or odors during charging. I popped it into my heavy-duty Snapper trimmer and trimmed the perimeter of my property, then put it in my Blower and cleaned up. Afterwards, it still had a solid 20% left, which is pretty good compared to my older batteries. I have since repeated this twice more with the same results. The hard part is you never know how long a battery's lifetime will be, but this one is going strong, and I'm very happy with it at this point.

I picked up this replacement battery for my Snapper XD 82V tools and so far it has been a really pleasant surprise. The fit was exactly what I hoped for because it slides right into my Snapper equipment just like the original battery and clicks into place with no fuss. I always worry a little when trying third party batteries, but this one worked immediately with my charger and tools without any error messages or strange behavior. One thing I noticed right away is the runtime, which honestly feels longer than the smaller capacity battery I was using before. When I'm out doing yard work I like to get everything done in one pass, mowing, trimming, and blowing off the driveway, and this battery has been able to keep up without me constantly watching the clock. The LED indicator lights are also really helpful because you can glance at the battery and see exactly how much power you have left instead of guessing. The outer shell feels solid too, not flimsy or cheap, which is important since yard tools tend to get bumped around in the garage or trailer. I also appreciate the built in protection system that helps guard against overheating or overcharging because batteries are one of those things you want to feel confident about when charging them in the house or garage. Another nice thing is that it holds a charge well, so if I leave it sitting for a while between projects it is still ready to go when I grab it again. Overall this has been a dependable replacement battery that powers my Snapper tools just like it should, and it is a great option if you need extra runtime or a backup battery ready for longer yard work sessions.

This Aegiron 3.5Ah replacement battery works well with my Snapper XD 82V mower. The lithium cells pack a decent charge and the LED indicators give a clear read on what's left before you switch to a second pack. It's the 3.5Ah capacity, not the original 2.0Ah model, so it runs longer on a single charge. The battery management system handles charging and discharging without errors on the charger or tool. The ABS case looks built to take drops and vibration from regular outdoor use. It's certified to meet the standards that Snapper equipment expects... fits and works the same. The price is a lot more reasonable than the replacement battery from the OEM, for a battery that has more run-time.. and pretty on-line with other replacements on the market. If you need to replace an old Briggs and Stratton battery without going back to the manufacturer for a 2.0Ah unit, this is a good option for getting more runtime out of your tools without buying a full new set.

Unfortunately, like seemingly all replacement batteries, this isn't what it claims to be. This battery pack is constructed using SunPower INR18650-2000 cells which, as the name suggests, are 2.0Ah capacity. Since the 20 cells are wired in series, this means the pack itself can have no more than 2.0Ah capacity. The claimed 3.5Ah is simply impossible with this construction. Unlike OEM batteries, this unit lacks a distinct fuse. Construction is otherwise decent and typical of aftermarket batteries. The cells are organized as two 5x2 blocks with a gap in the middle providing some airflow. The cells are 20A rated so should hold up well. The charge meter is the typical four LEDs and gives a coarse indication of charge level while being easy to read. Note that this battery is very similar to 80/82V batteries from other brands. Interestingly this battery has slots that are compatible with Kobalt without modification. I can't speak for Greenworks. Tested with a Kobalt charger and leaf blower where it functioned perfectly. A good battery, well priced, but falls well short of the claimed capacity.
