So I've had this scale for about 3 months now, and I've used it less than weekly, a total of about 9 times. I've used it once or twice without the app and my kids have stepped on it too, so maybe closer to like 15-20 times that it's ever weighed somebody. The battery has died TWICE! The first time might've just been a fluke, it was about 2-3 weeks in it stopped working and the batteries were rusted because my kids love to turn my bathroom into a lake on a daily basis... 🙄 So I replaced those around the beginning of August. But the battery died again a couple weeks ago, I've started keeping the scale leaned up against the wall so the battery part can't get wet from the floor, so I'm pretty sure it's not that. Plus last time it just wouldn't turn on, this time it lights up and says the batteries are low. So IDK what's up with that. But the good things: It's a nice scale, it does a really good job of measuring weight, body fat, bmi, and all sorts of measurements. The app is really nice, it charts your measurements for you so you can see your progress, it tells all sorts of things: weight, body mass index, and body fat percentage (the reason we all bought this scale, lol). But it also tells you how much of your fat is subcutaneous (under your skin) or visceral (between your organs) visceral fat is much more dangerous and you usually can't even see it, it's the subcutaneous that makes you look fat. It also says how much you'd weigh if you had no fat, which would be impossible and crazy unhealthy but it's a fun number anyway. It tells you how much of your mass is muscle, skeletal (arms and legs and stuff you see) and general muscle mass, which I imagine includes your brain and tongue and organs and such. It also has numbers for your bone mass, protein (not 100% sure what that means) and your basal metabolic rate, which is how many calories per day your body needs to function and keep you at this same weight, so you can see if I want to stay this weight (which I don't) I only need to consume 1375 calories per day, which means I need a little bit less than that to lose weight (caloric deficiency). But keep in mind that's also without any exercise or anything, so you've gotta factor that in. The metabolic age is how old my body is acting like, I'm 26, my metabolic age is 28, so that's not too bad, but obviously I want to get closer to my real age. The numbers are color coded so you can tell which ones are healthy (green) which need more work (yellow) and I'm assuming dangerous ones turn red. There's also a function where you can add your family to the app, so my husband or kids can step on the scale and get their own numbers instead of messing up mine. I find that super handy, but I have yet to check if it works from multiple devices, so I've had to always be present and hand out my phone when people want to use the scale. It's kind of cute how it allows baby users, which basically it just weighs them, doesn't check all their stats because they aren't adults so the numbers would be skewed. Anyway, overall it's a great scale, it does what it says, it's proven to be pretty accurate. Just be prepared to pop 3 more AA's in every month :/ ... show more

I am the same exact weight as I was 2 years ago (when I used a BMI scale at a nutrition store and printed off the report and kept it) and wanted to see the difference today in my body fat and bone (skeleton) as I've been working hard on eliminating fat food and drinking collagen and bone protein shakes for over a year and turned 50 recently. Very happy to see positive results. Connects in seconds to reading on your phone with lots of details. I'd leave the pics here but I'm writing this review on my laptop not my phone. I'm going to compare every 6 most to make sure I'm staying on track. Hubby got on it and he was in the red zone on a few items. Son got on it and was A+ . If anything you have a very attractive extra scale. But even DR's should use these -People would wake up real quick if they could see these details. Is it 100% accurate probably not but I'll take 5% off. I'm glad I kept that print out of the one I had from 2 years ago. ... show more

The calibration is very easy to fix, the scale is extremely precise. To compare on the one photo I weighed myself before and after using the restroom and it went the .2 lbs down. It’s has made my tracking progress way easier and syncs to my health app which syncs to my calorie tracking app. Absolutely love that I don’t have to manually put in information! It has made weight watching kinda fun…lol, even though facts don’t care about my feelings and maybe it makes me a little sad when it puts obese in the big red letters because I really don’t look that “obese” but still chubby no less, I won’t argue. I do still appreciate it telling me what needs approved on for my health 😂 nothing makes me happier than seeing when my weight goes down and it tells me precisely how much I lost. (I’ll update a photo of the scale later…but it looks exactly as pictured and I love it.) ... show more

    • Awesome scale at a throwaway price

This is the best feature filled scale one can buy at this price. It has all the feature one needs. It measures 16 or so essential measurements which will really help you guage yourself when you are on a fitness regime. This might not be accurate but one must remember that through comparing data between the start and end of your weightloss plan (say about 1-3-6months) you can draw relevance through comparison of the readings, because whatever readings you get in the very begining can be used as a marker or a benchmark and any deviation from the initial data can be treated as a gain or loss in your body composition. You need to download an app for this and it does sync itself with google fit and health app, you just gotta share the data between the app and google fit and health app. The connection is super simple to setup and is just one time. Open app, stand on the scale and it just takes few seconds to take the measurements. The app also has a feature that every measurement compares itself to the previous measurements and the differences are highlighted. Overall a good buy, just what I needed. Unit is very light and attractive, it is very fast as well. Haven't used the app features yet and might not but I am happy with how quick it is, the other digital scale we have takes a few seconds of standing on it before it actually displays the weight. Side note, Amazon claimed they delivered my package but when I checked it was not there, they delivered a out 7 packages Al at the same time and it looked like they probably forgot mine but flagged it as delivered. I reported that it was not actually delivered and they responded very quickly and came back out to deliver it same day. Very impressed, thank you for the quick response time! ... show more
