I went through 2 no brand inverters and all failed, then later found out renogy sells 24v inverters so I purchased one and let me tell you, at definitely works, runs all my stuff in my house, it even has Bluetooth built in, it doesn't even say it has Bluetooth on the listing, but it did. the heat is another thang it gets hot when pulling 1800watts. fans are loud, but compared to other inverters its quieter. highly recommend! will be buying everything with renogy from now on.

Unit works well. If you are going to connect this to a home panel, you either need to run a sub panel where neutral and grounds are not bonded, or open the unit and unbond it. If you just connect it to your homes panel, the built in gfci will trip a lot. Handles what I need it for.

Very disappointed. I installed this for a few security cameras in a remote cabin that is inaccessible during the winter. If we get clouds for a few days and the batteries drain one night, the inverter shuts down until i can flip the switch. Doesn’t mention this in the specs. I’m going to have to toss this and buy something else. Seems like any type of battery could handle draining every night for a month or three (90 times max) till i could get back to it, so don’t tell me this is to prevent battery burnout. At least make it a setting that i can change and take that risk.

I bought this inverter because it is supposed to disconnect the load when the battery gets too low, then automatically reconnect without intervention, when the battery is high enough. Doesn't always do that, and thats an issue for my unattended system. My previous inverter locked out with an error code, this one just locks out, no code and must be power-cycled. I didnt want to do this, but I will have to build a controller to externally disconnect and reconnect the load. Will probably cost me more than the inverter ☹️

There are some applications where quality and durability aren't as important, but an inverter is not one of those applications. Reliability is essential as I don't want to be without power in the middle of my vacation. High quality components and manufacturing are also important for safety when you're dealing with electrical systems. Renogy has a strong reputation for high quality and this inverter appears to live up to that reputation. It's well built and has both A/C outlets and terminal block. I plan to wire it into my RV but it's great to be able to use it with the 2 A/C outlets even before I get that done. When I do install it in my RV I will appreciate the hard-wired remote control so I can keep tabs on it even though it will be mounted out of sight in a difficult to access location. This inverter has a solid design, and the noise level is very reasonable. I think it's a solid value for the money considering the quality and am very glad I ordered it.

Works as needed to run a 1/4 hp well pump. The only con is that it does not auto reset if low voltage or high voltage shutdown. We use this in a remote location form our main buildings and it's kind of a pain to go down and reset.

Renogy build and quality, what else can you say? I got this for my 2nd lifepo4 setup in my home. After suffering through 3 back to back hurricanes last year and almost 21 combined days without power, no more gas generator 24/7 for me. Stocked up on these to set up a self sustaining power source. Got the 24v this time as I found some 24v 100ah batteries for under 300 and set 3 of them them up in parallel. Allows me to use 1/0 and 2awg instead of 4/0 cabling like I had to do with the first system, a 12v system. Inverter is quiet and produces clean power. I surged it to over 3,500 watts and it didn't flip, so the claim of being able to surge to 4000 watts is more than likely good. It's fan curve is good. Great product.
