I bought this panel based on word of mouth. Charging is great and no damage issues on delivery. System here is two LFP house banks (12V, 40Amh), and a seperate e-bike LFP bank for cranking the engine. Small system, 30' sloop. Chartplotter, Ham HF, VHF, AIS-B, lights, and an Engel fridge. Between this panel and an Air Breeze turbine, I rarely get more than 30% into the banks, but 20% is more normal. This panel is much more effective than the turbine most of the time, but redundancies are golden. Perhaps in the Trades it'd be more equal. Anyway this panel rocks!     • Not Happy With Panel Performance
I am only getting about 2.5 to 3 amps output, at full exposure, with 3 panels wired in series. I should be getting 5.5 amps. This gives me a charge rate of approximately 125 w/hr, instead of 275 w/hr (for 300 watts of solar panels. I'm not sure if it is the panels or the Renogy Lycan Powerbox. Bought it with the Renogy brackets and they are very easy to install. Just installed them last week. So far, good results. Drove around 1,500 miles and still in place. Used stainless steel screw (from bracket to panels) and EternaBond with VHB tape (from bracket to roof). Have 2 6V batteries (225AH) and MMPT's charger controller (GreeSonic). 4 panels, 2 sets in series independently connected to the batteries. ... show more

Renogy can engineer and build GREAT panels, but they totally suck with customer service. It is better to order their gear from Amazon than to deal with Renogy directly.
