  • 2019 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS
Swapped out stock old yellow halogen bulbs for these and they match the brightness of the stock mini led drl’s that come on the 2017,18 & 19 Street Triple. Fit completely inside the light housing with zero issues so far. Will update after some time on the road but so far pretty happy with these.

  • Wow. These are bright headlights.
These lights do exactly what they say. They produce a bright and quality light that makes seeing the road so much easier. Installation is easy and the lights fit perfectly. Because my car is a compact, and the headlights are a real tight fit, and maybe because of my age and that I don't want to play, I took these to my mechanic to do the installation. I'll pay him to tear up his hands. Go ahead and ditch the halogens and upgrade to LED's. You'll be glad that you did. Cheers 🍷 ... show more

  • Fits a Yamaha FZ1 without any modifications. High beam leaves something to be desired
Perfectly fits my 2002 Yamaha FZ1 headlight shell...which takes 2 H4 bulbs. Rubber boots fit around the lamp base without any need for cutting/modification. Being paranoid about blinding oncoming drivers...which a lot of people are not...I measured the light cutoff of these LEDs against my tungsten standard bulbs. For some reason, the low beam was too high, and the high beam was up in the trees. Luckily, this is a pretty easy bike on which to adjust light alignment, but I was surprised that a 1:1 style light would require this much adjustment. When dialed in, the low light output was bright non-blinding. The high beam, although it worked, seemed to be difuse without much output.. Acceptable, and required no cutting of the rear boots, but it did take some tinkering to adjust the light height...I'd give it 3 1/2 stars if possible... ... show more

  • Seem brighter than my previous bulb!
I recently switched over the LED from incandescent. The bulb I used left a bit to be desired as it was not quite as bright as I thought it should be. I ordered this hoping for a bit more brightness. I installed in a Suzuki C50. It was an easy install and seems to give desired brightness. Plus, the shines on both sides (my previous one did not!) I like it...also it is a good value since it is a two-pack! ... show more

  • Replace easily in a Honda 2001 Odyssey
My Honda 2001 Odyssey needs a new headlight bulb. I originally planned to use the Sylvania XtraVision. The problem is Sylvania doesn’t list the lumens (brightness) of their bulbs on their website. Also, I want to try non-halogen light bulbs which usually last longer. Amazon has many LED light bulbs with super high brightness (20000+ lumens) but they all have fans which I want to avoid any mechanical issue with the fans. At the end, I selected the Reno H4 (12000 lumens) which is brighter than the original one and has no moving parts. I am happy with the purchase. I will see if it lasts for its claimed 50000 hours. One note is the new bulb is a little longer than the original bulbs. The driver side has tighter space to install the bulb which took me a minute or two to install (while the passenger side only took 30 secs). No big deal. ... show more

  • Direct replacement with no fitment issues
I really like fanless LED lights as a direct replacement for halogen housing, with maximum compatibility. On my 2008 Prius, the fan housing conflicts with the headlight’s dust cap, requiring additional modifications. Fanless lights can have shortened lifespans due to cooling issues, or longer lifespans due to less moving parts (?), but a much bigger deciding factor is the quality of the LEDs itself. I have not noticed any big difference between fan/ fanless LED reliability that can be attributed to the fan, but part of this is also because I generally opt for lower powered LED headlights that match the halogen’s power usage and/or light output. While LEDs have a theoretically long lifespan and are certainly more reliable than halogens, they do degrade over time. My last set of fanless H4 LEDs from a different brand (not name brand) worked for 12 months and across 20,000 miles of driving (from my experience the normal usable life of an off brand LED headlight is a year), but recently started to get really dim. I could not properly assess the beam pattern, and I’ve been in situations where I thought I calibrated the lights ok but other drivers still felt it was bright. My current setup is to keep the old dim headlight on the left side (oncoming side), and use the new headlight on the right side, to mitigate any major issues with blinding. ... show more
