What can I say, it’s a box of washers. I needed a bunch of large diameter washers, and discovered that getting a collection like this was only a little more expensive than buying a bunch of single washers, so I did it this way. Now I am happy to have a washer in almost any size I need.

A little thin so they will deform with lock washers unless the surface is rigid. Good deal for light usage. Nice to have a variety of sizes on hand. Note: they will send a "surprise gift" card telling you that you have won a discount which you cannot receive until you provide a 5 star review. I have updated my review to reflect the actual quality of the product now that I have received my discount.

This 304 Stainless Steel fender washer kit by IEAWISL is a very handy kit to have around your workshop for any situation where you need washers that will resist rusting from the elements and can apply a larger clamping area. These are most useful for automotive repair but I have also used these for securing outdoor tarps. The metric sizes are perfect for metric hardware but with a large range of sizes they will work in just about any application up to about 1/2". The 12mm easily fits 1/2" hardware. They can even be stacked up to better suit your clamping requirements. Although 304 is technically non-magnetic when produced, it can acquire some magnetic properties during cold work such as being pressed into a washer. These do have a little magnetism which can be useful if you happen to drop a washer into a tight space. It's hard to evaluate how authentic stainless is without the test of time and exposure to elements but the color and low magnetic properties are a positive sign. I also liked that the plastic case has the size chart mapped on both sides of the lid but beware that the dividers are easily dislodged. Mine actually arrived with a couple of broken ones but this may have been from rough handling during shipping. Overall, for the current price of $22.37 this is an excellent value as buying individual fender washers can get expensive. I'll give this 5 stars.

I compared these to some random washers I had on hand from Home Depot and these were a hair thinner than the HD ones but we’re pretty strong. I tried to bend them with pliers to test their durability but couldn’t really budge them. I think these will be a great addition to my tool box since I’m always needing washers!

There’s nothing more frustrating for a mechanic than to find out at the last minute that he/she is missing a nut, bolt, washer, or screw that he/she needs to complete the repair. It happened to me more often than I care to remember. To make matters worse, it always happened when all my suppliers were closed. In order to complete the repair and get the equipment back in the hands of my customer, I would end up robbing Peter to pay Paul. That was back in the day when a mechanic had to make up his/her own assortments. Oh, there were a few assortments to be had, but those assortments were never complete and they never seemed to have what I needed. Today there are many assortments out there to choose from that are complete and will have the fastener that you need, when you need it. The bottom line is that I depend on assortments like this one every day. Every mechanic needs to have this assortment in his/her shop and in his/her service vehicle.
