The media could not be loaded. I got this because I thought maybe my Grandpa rode around in one of these during the Second World War. It’s a pretty close replica to the real thing just from me seeing these in movies and documentaries/pictures. So I’d say the design is spot on for collectors or fans of this type of memorabilia. But here’s the fun part, it’s almost completely functional. With the exception of the small tools not being removable, everything else comes off. It’s pretty durable, my teenage son has been driving this around the house and learning how to drive it. It’s also very fast so driving it into walls is inevitable. Connecting it was easy, just a few steps to program the remote to the truck. All of the lights work, headlights, taillights, stop lights work when the truck brakes, and there are turn signals in the front AND rear that work when you turn the wheel left or right. I did my best to display this as you can see in one of the pictures the bright amber light. The headlights are crazy bright, I was checking this out and swept it over my eyes and it was definitely noticeable. I feel like it would do well at night and that’s our next adventure with this. My son says it’s mod-friendly because of all the pieces that can be removed or are interchangeable. For example, the spare tire does come off and he says the wheels can be removed also. Details down to the little gas can being removable make this a truly unique experience. The cover can also be removed and he stows it in the back seat folded up. The windshield can be placed down for storage and the seats even come out. The winch can even be removed and it is fully operational. Another interesting detail is the steering wheel moves either direction with the steering of the wheels and remote. Without a full charge he was able to play with this off and on over a few hours so the battery life is pretty awesome for such a detailed and fast truck. Overall, I would say if you know anyone interested in rc cars or interested in this era memorabilia, this would make a great gift. I enjoyed this myself watching the cats chase it and run around with it because they were so curious, so it could also bring you hours of fun. I should also note it got my kids off of their devices and outside like I grew up so the value is tremendous in that alone.

The added LED lights, turn signals, and even a working winch make it one of the most realistic RC trucks in its price range. This thing is absolutely awesome! I have to be honest, as a guy who owns/runs several Traxxas short track trucks and one Associated crawler, I didn't have very high expectations for this, but man, I was crazy wrong! This RC jeep is actually a really nicely built ready to run RC truck that my 11 year old and I are having a blast with. She runs her own short track truck, but has never used a crawler before and is loving this Jeep. The quality and detail of the manufacturing and the design is really very good. It is definitely on par with vehicles that cost significantly more than this one does, and the $70 price point is absolutely incredible for what you get here. It is definitely ready to run, and even includes a LiPo battery that gives a solid 30 minutes of run time before needing to be recharged. You will need to provide your own AA batteries for the remote, so you may want to order them when you order the truck in case you don't have them around the house. This battery is widely available on Amazon and eBay, so I bought a couple extras so we can have multiples charged up and keep the fun going. The detail on this jeep are crazy, right down to the working winch! This might be one of the coolest features of the Jeep. It's controlled right from the remote and actually functions pretty darn well. It's a relatively capable crawler and is doing a pretty good job getting over my mostly cobble stone course in the backyard. I would spend $70 dollars on this again in about half a second. It's a really well built Jeep, with incredible detail, a nice remote and pretty solid battery life. I highly recommend it!
