This was for a 7 year olds birthday. He absolutely loved it. The battery life is good and it comes with 2 batteries anyway. We will just keep one charged at all times. The blue whale swims really well in the bathtub or a pool. Would definitely buy again. I think I'll get 1 for our pool!

I give this remote control shark to my son for easter. He has had it now for a couple of weeks and uses it when he swims in our pool. He is seven years old is able to use it pretty easily. Your remote control shark is a good size, and is fun for any school age kid. At $40, I think it's a good deal .It would be a great birthday present or gift. .

This shark toy is seriously cool! (≧▽≦) Once I popped in the batteries, it was ready to go, easy to start up. The moment it hits the water, it comes to life and starts swimming around just like a real little shark. The glowing eyes and water-spray effect are such fun touches, and my nephew was totally mesmerized. My son seems really into it. Even when it's not in use, it looks cute just sitting on the shelf in his room, like a little underwater buddy on display. We’ve only been able to try this shark out in the bathtub, we can’t wait to try it out in the pool this summer! This ‘drives’ really well in the water. It’s so much fun to have a remote control shark! The battery life has lasted us two play sessions so far. We don’t play for it very long when we use it, maybe 10 minutes or so. It’s so brightly colored and fun! Would definitely recommend!
