While I can't yet comment on longevity of this product and will update if that becomes an issue, I can say that so far it has been working fine. This was the proper fit for a 2009 scion tc, for one, which the previous old alternator eventually failed in. Since replacing with this alternator, the vehicle has been used almost daily for relatively shorter drives, but also multiple trips per day at times, for about a month or so now and it has been working without issues. The replacement process went smoothly and wasn't difficult, aside from the annoyance of the serpentine belt going back on after replacing the alternator (and previously the water pump), which was already a tough fit despite being the correct size (longest belt out of all recommended for this vehicle, as there was annoyingly more than one recommendation) which required a little extra trick with a helpful little item and tip previously given by a mechanic to get back on (not due to this product, just how the belt already fit). The price of this item, as usual, is much less than you'd likely pay if getting one through a mechanic or dealership. If the vehicle it were going into were newer, I would have considered OEM, but this one at a fraction of the cost was acceptable for a 14 year old vehicle.

Great deal until it wasn't. Fit perfectly, easy to install and fixed my problem. Unfortunately started to fail at 1 year. Repair shop checked all wiring and determined alternator failure. Cannot find seller contact information.

Fit 2004 Camry le perfectly fine but the pic shows that it says denso remanufactured on it but when I receive the order it had nothing on it so I don’t really know if it’s denso or not but it works fine been 3 months now let’s see how long it lasts …Original one lasted 20 years …

The product went in great in 1.2hrs. The car now is running great. It even fixed the long time faulty RPMs where the RPM needle was going up and down. Must have been an issue with the voltage regulator but the car is 2004 with the original alternator. I wanted to change it and be ready for long summer trips with the family and for the unforgiving winters. This was installed into a 2004 Toyota RAV4 by a qualified mechanic. The mechanic gave this alter a thumbs up. 👍 Update: I just took a long drive 3 hrs North. The Alternator is holding great. So far it's been a month. Very nicely built. Another thumbs up. 👍

Love the alternator but it was shipped in two boxes 1st box actual box no packing perfect fit, 2nd box much larger box no packing, both boxes were very thin, alternator had too much movement in box cracked the plastic around the hot lead on the alternator but still installed it alternator works fine time will tell if any other damage so far so good couldn't wait for a exchange at the time. Unk if packed by Amazon or manufacturer.

Do not buy this alternator, it is completely junk, I’ve have it for less than 5 months. And I'm having to buy the Denso manufacturer brand for a more reliable one.

Great Alternator, perfect match to factory unit, works great, no core required, fast shipping. We’ve had it installed almost 2 months and working perfectly. My family has had lots of issues with poorly rebuilt units from auto parts stores and new was almost twice the price locally. Not having to pay for a core is great too, delivery was 1 day, quality looks the same as the Toyota/Scion original.
