I don't know why there is an age advisory on this remote-control dinosaur toy because personally I could have played with this myself for hours. This has got be one of the most unique and fun remote-control toys I have ever seen, and the grandkids absolutely love it. The remote control alone is a fun item with the skeleton bones as the control buttons just makes it even better. The imitation "smoke" and glowing red light that comes out of the mouth works really well and the movement of the dinosaur looks awesome. Thankfully the dinosaur comes with rubber pads on its feet, and this is great since we have hardwood and tile floors in our house so even on a smooth surface the dino works very well. There is some small assembly required when you open the box, but this is minimal and is done in seconds. It comes with a small water bottle that you use to make the mist come out of the mouth as well as a small screwdriver to access the battery compartment (2 x AA batteries) on the remote-control pad and a USB cable to recharge the dinosaur. The movement of the dinosaur looks just like the T-Rex from Jurassic Park and the head moves from side to side. There is also a demonstration mode button on the controller that you just need to press once, and the dinosaur goes through all of the movements as well as the "fire breathing" and did I mention that it roars too? This is just so much fun for the kids (and the adults). Well worth the money and it gets 10/10 from me.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very cool remote-controlled toy that kids love! I bought this for my grandkids to play with and they go wild over it. This dinosaur comes with a remote, an instruction sheet, a screw driver to access the battery compartment (no batteries were included) and a small squeeze bottle to fill with water for the smoke the dinosaur blows out its mouth. The dinosaur comes partially unassembled in the box, but it is very simple to snap on the two arms and the tail. The dinosaur is pretty easy to operate, and it does get pretty wild as it runs and growls. However, the instructions weren't very clear on how to put the water into the dinosaur so it could blow the smoke. It took me a few minutes to figure it out, and I only did figure it out because I have a volcano toy that also blows out smoke and its water plug blends in with the volcano. This dinosaur is similar in that regard. At the top of the dinosaur's head is what looks like a tuft of skin that sticks up slightly higher than the rest of its head. This is the plug! Pull that out and then you can squirt water from the tiny squeeze bottle into this hole, plug it back up and your dinosaur is good to go! It's very cool to watch it blow off some steam! This toy comes unassembled, but it easily snaps together without tools. This was a birthday gift for my grandson. We put it together, charged it, and placed it in a gift bag covered with tissue. Grandpa retained the remote control (I had shenanigans planned) . While he was opening his other gifts, I made the dinosaur roar once in a while. He turned his head away from his other gifts every time trying to figure out what was going on. When he finally took it out of the bag, I made it run across the floor towards his uncle. It startled both of them. I almost hated to leave it with him.

Got this for a 5 year old and his birthday. Let me just say this was a HUGE hit at the birthday party. All the kids were fascinated by the mist coming out of the dino's mouth. This was also the toy they all took turns playing with after all the presents were opened. Super cool and I would definitely recommend it to other T-Rex fans about that same age. The only issue (and not much of one) was the packaging was seriously damaged when we got it. The toy wasn't hurt though, so it was all good.

This remote controlled dinosaur is super cute, and sooo much fun!!!! We got this because our daughter is super into dinosaurs right now and thought it would be fun for her! Boy were we right! She has been playing with this for hours the past few days of having it! It's super fun and easy to use and control! It's definitely true to the ad and has all the features that it should. The remote is super cute and it's just a complete fun and neat toy!!! Very well made and heavy duty. I'm sure it can stand up to rough play by how durable it seems! Definitely got to give this a 10 out of 10! Worth every penny for sure!

The remote is probably a little challenging for most 3 year olds but that depends on the 3 year old. I would say it should be fine for most 4 year olds, and some 3 year olds. These little kids learn so much so fast. This dinosaur does a lot which means the remote does a lot but the kids just want to push the buttons and it does things and for them that's fun enough. Eventually they'll figure it out so they can actually control it. Till then a 3 year old is happy with just pushing the buttons It does have a really good roar. It looks really good too. The details are great. And it's really interactive. Great toy. I had fun playing with it too!
