Bought this as a Christmas present for a 4 yr old boy. He couldn't get enough of it. Someone else got him a dinosaur figure which he set up and kept running the dino truck into. He said they were trying to eat each other. Batteries for the remote were separate so be aware of that when buying.

Bought this twice as birthday gifts- for a 3 year old and a 4 year old. Was a hit both times. While they struggled with navigating the backwards motion, they both had so much fun making the dinosaur chase their friends around and crash into people or the wall. They also really loved that thr eyes lit up.

Seems to be good quality, but the lack of instructions IN the box are virtually non existent. There were more instructions on the amazon website but who opens a toy and then has to go back to the computer to see how to put in the rechargeable battery? They should have included the instructions in DETAIL INSIDE the BOX. Also, I didnt know if the rechargeable battery was already charged, or did I need to charge it? Also, didnt see anywhere that there are 2 AA batteries NEEDED for the remote. I didnt see that anywhere. There’s nothing worse than a kid getting a present, they open it, and now there are no batteries to use it…….MAKE THE BATTERY instructions EASY TO UNDERSTAND and to know whats needed UPFRONT.

Ordered this car for my son as gift. Received product sealed but I noticed upon opening that the top of the box had scuffs on the inside of the box as if the car had been pulled out and then put back in several times already. Not sure if this is was a repackaged product but I suspect it could be. The car itself seemed decently made. I was even excited that the car uses only one battery and it came with two. But the controller was a cheap piece of plastic. The controller seemed very poor quality. Like it could break very easy with one single drop. This did not bode well considering the box says this is for kids 6+. Any parent can tell you that kids drop things. So if you are making something for kids 6+ and it feels like it could break with one good drop. You are making a cheap product that will not last. Well lets just say, my son never even had a chance to drop the remote because the car never worked out of the box. He never got to play with it. I charged the two batteries that came with the car. Installed one in the car. I put brand new batteries in the controller. Turned both on and nothing. Switched out the battery in the car. Again. Nothing. I double checked everything. I made sure the batteries were charged. Even though I put new batteries in the remote. I tried a different set just to be sure. Still nothing. My son was so disappointed. I do not understand all of the 5 star reviews for this and they are very misleading because I tried this based on the good reviews and boy were they wrong. DO NOT BUY!!!
