I've tried several backpacks for travel and I really like this one. Quality and materials are good and I really do like the way the pockets are laid out. It's good sized not too big so it fits well under the seat for a "personal item" in flights. Comfortable for wearing and it has the strap across the back so you can slip it over the handle of a roller bag easily which is a big feature I require. I would buy this again if it was damaged or lost.

I've had this for nearly 5 years now. I use it to hold all my gear when flying for work, and it has been fantastic. I see a lot of others just like it in airports, which compelled me to finally write a review. The bag is tremendously roomy, and very sturdy. It has pockets everywhere and they are easy to access. I feel confident in carrying my laptop in it thanks to the padded sleeve for it. It's easy to use, and the color is nice. I'd recommend this bag to anyone and would buy it again if mine wore out.

This backpack is excellent has multiple pockets and can hold not just one laptop but two easy to use the color is beautiful it fits magnificent when you wear it. It's rip resistant fabric.. and it's water resistant there is a USV port charger and that was the issue it doesn't work or at least this didn't work so I have to return it but I do want to say excellent backpack and hopefully this was just a fluke.. This backpack is extremely huge and can fit a whole slew of things in all different zippers and pockets.

Wow I have been utterly thrilled with this backpack, especially since I got it for more than 50% off. But even at full price I think you'll be happy. Lots of room, clearly it's made with real quality. I like the ability to have in internal power bank with external connection. Lot of good organizer features that make this very versatile. Looks great, seems pretty durable -- I've had it for about six months but light use -- still it looks like new. I carry my tablet, phone, chargers, paperwork, some socks and underwear for emergencies, writing materials, earbuds and cases and have tons of room left over.

I decided that I wanted to travel light from now on when I fly, with just a carry-on suitcase and a backpack. I wanted the backpack to be fairly large (to hold overflow from the suitcase or items purchased on vacation, as well as things I’d want to have access to on a long flight like slippers, my iPad and Kindle, cables and chargers for the phone, etc.). And I needed it to be lightweight because I am a small person. So, once I have loaded it up, I didn’t want it to be unbearably heavy. I also wanted it to have good organization—numerous handy pockets, places for pens, a key As usual, I researched this for weeks and weeks, and weeks and weeks. This particular backpack kept popping up. The price was so reasonable that I assumed it wasn’t high quality. But over 105,000 people have reviewed it, and the reviews are consistently good. I was prepared to pay quite a bit more, figuring this would play an important role in future travels for years and could be considered an investment. I order another one that also had good reviews, but was considerably higher in price. But when it came, it was so bulky, heavy, and uncomfortable to wear that I returned it. It probably would have been great for someone bigger than me. So, I finally ordered this Matein backpack. And it’s fabulous. I got it in black, figuring that it’s a neutral color, won’t get dirty fast, and matches everything. I left for a trip overseas right after it arrived. It is lightweight, functional, and was very useful on my trip. The two side pockets comfortably fit a water bottle and an umbrella (I was glad to have it since it rained quite a bit on my trip). And it held everything I wanted to put in it, including a light jacket, a bag of liquids for TSA to check, slippers, reading material, some snacks, and lots more. I love the small anti-theft hidden pocket in the back (great place for my passport and boarding pass), as well as the side pocket that’s in the front, but not generally visible, where I stash my phone. It has numerous pockets to store items in an organized way. Highly recommend!

Bought this is as a gift for a family member who never uses a backpack but now needs one due to current life circumstances. After a couple weeks and getting used to it, he likes it a lot. It’s not too big, not too small and perfect for his needs. Since I frequently use a backpack I did some research before buying this one. I would recommend this one.
