The only negative is that battery life is very short, but they are rechargeable. My kiddos absolutely love playing with it and it has a nice range to it. If you don’t mind charging batteries all the time it isn’t a bad remote car.

I am torn on this one. I almost gave it 5 Star because the cons listed below should probably be expected given the low price. This car is a bit on the smaller side compared to a hobby grade car. It goes pretty fast and has LED lights that make the body glow different colors. The tires are rubbery but still tend to spin out on a tile or hard floor. It comes with two batteries. It seems sturdy and like it will stand up to some rough use. Cons. Both the steering and the speed are non-variable. In other words, it is either turning all the way left, all the way right, or it is not turning. The speed is either full speed or nothing. So, it is a bit difficult to control. It also has, in my opinion, a rather larger turning radius. With the inability to accurately control the speed, and the large turning radius, you can't really use it in the house without constantly doing three point turns and running into things. ... show more

I have a lot of RCs so this review is from someone with at least a little bit of knowledge of them. As the title says, this thing will get down. It's straight up fast for a 3.7 volt 500mah battery setup compared to many of the others I've had. I have one similar and this car will smoke it. The tires are also a bit bigger, so it wants to handle off road a little better. It's still a 2 wheel drive though, keep in mind. 4 wheel drive makes a big difference if you plan on getting in thicker grass. I wanted this for a dirt and sand budget toy and it's great for just that. The pricing currently is pretty fair for what you get. I like the lights. The body flashes and the headlights are on full time. The motor is so strong that it does dim the lights a tad when you accelerate but that doesn't bother me. The only issue I have so far is on slick surfaces, it really peels to one side at first. Not a steering issue, but a sudden power issue. If this car had proportional throttle, I'd be just about a perfect 2 wheel drive for its current price range. I'm still super happy with it! ... show more
