The speed is pretty good on tile floors and the batteries last about a half hour per charge, and re-charge quickly with the provided USB adapter. Drifts amazing on smooth areas.. or freshly done pavement. Switch to rubber tires and watch that thing tale off nearly 10mph

    • Great car for drifting with pretty good battery life
The media could not be loaded. My sons love this RC car. It has two sets of wheels one is slick plastic for drifting on smooth surfaces and the other set has rubber for more control and grip. The car is very torquey and lots of fun for drifting. You can use it as a regular RC car, but the throttle is pretty much off or on, so it is much more of a drifting specialist. The set came with 6 orange cones for setting up obstacle courses and challenges. It also came with two rechargeable batteries for the car and a USB charger for the batteries. I like the charger because it has a red light that lets you know it is charging and turns off when the battery is full. The remote takes two AA batteries that you will need to provide. The battery life for the car is much better than I expected for an RC car in this price range. My sons really like the looks of the car, and the working headlights are pretty cool. It has been a hit in our family, and they want to get a second one with a different frequency so they can play together. Like most RC cars in the price range, you have to loosen a screw to open the battery compartment to swap the batteries. I wish they had an external port to recharge them. The good news is this included two batteries so one can be recharged while using the other. If there was more throttle control I would give this a five-star rating. ... show more

This was kinda of a spur of the moment buy. It is a fun little RC car. Be great for a young child that wants to get in to RC vehicles. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries for the car. And two sets of tire/rims one is “drift” type and the other is softer grippy tires. Also comes with 6 small caution cones for you to drive around. And the RC remote and RC Car. The remote will need two AAA batteries (if I remember right). The RC car turns good and runs pretty good on hard carpeting, wood floors, and tile. With both tires. Again this is definitely a “starter” type RC car. You will not want to play with this outside. In the end I really like this little RC do pass a little time. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a very fun little remote car. I may have to get another one so I can race other people. Obviously at this price point I wasn't expecting a top of the line remote control car, but there are a few things that I thing detract from the fun. The steering mechanism has a lot of slop in it so the car always pulls one way or the other and it's impossible to drive in a straight line for more than about 3 feet. The other thing I wish it had was proportional control of the throttle and the steering. It basically has 3 speeds: full throttle forward, stop and full throttle backwards. There's no way to go slow or medium speed it's all or nothing. Same goes for steering - hard left, straight(ish) and hard right are the only steering options. Still, it's a ton of fun to drive on both hardwood floor and short carpet floors. The car comes with 2 sets of tires - hard plastic slicks and softer rubber tires. I put the softer rubber tires on because it was almost impossible to get movement with the car on the hardwood floor. If you decide to get one of these, make sure you get 2, because one just isn't enough. ... show more

When it arrived. I did think it would be a little bit bigger. We looking through the box I really did like that they gave you two rechargable batteries, so you can charge one while using the other. Charging the battery takes just a little over an hour. However you still need two AA batteries for the remote control. Everything else you need is in the box. It was a lot of fun driving up and down the street. The plastic looks durable and pretty well constructed. Nothing fell off while we drove it on bumpy asphalt. Fun little RC car that is fun to drift. The car goes pretty quickly, faster than expected. The control is okay, but not exact. It's hard to control the speed, but you can overall control the car. It's fun to switch out the tires and see how differently the car handles. It's nice to have the 2 rechargeable batteries. Not an expensive RC, but for the price it's a fun car! ... show more
