2024-01-14 Review of PHYWESS Remote Control Car (Green and Blue): Oh what fun! I have owned RC cars and trucks in the past and remember how fun it was. This truck is a perfect match for your child who is 5 years old and up. It is a great introduction to RC'ing for such a small price. $25.99 at the time I purchased. There was a 10% discount available too. You get 2 AAA batteries for the controller and 2 rechargeable batteries for the truck. After installation, I took it outside for a test drive. The truck is quite durable. I ran it on the grass and concrete and had no problems. Even through a few crashes, nothing broke. For a small vehicle, it is fast enough to impress. It even has headlights and car body lights. The steering needed to be adjusted a little, but that can be done by turning the steering level on the bottom of the truck to compensate oversteering. Battery life seems to be good, even though the battery is 600 ma. It runs on 1 battery and you get 2 batteries so when one is depleted, just swap it for the other charged on. The only difficulty I had was to release the battery (either from the charger or truck) you need to depress the single lever lock mechanism- no biggy. Added picture so you can see the size.

The media could not be loaded. This is a GREAT little race car. It has two front headlights and multiple under body GLOW lights. This thing is ZIPPY and is BEAUTIFUL. The range of the remote control is INCREDIBLE. I had this 75 YARDS down my street and it still received commands from the remote control. It comes with TWO rechargeable batteries, so when the first one dies, you have a second for immediate use while the dead one can be charged with the included USB cable which means zero downtime. I love that the battery compartment closes with a small screw (screwdriver included). Anyone who has ever used remote control cars in the past knows without proper security, the battery door can fling open during rigorous use. This screw ensures the battery door ALWAYS remains closed. I'm so glad I bought this thing. It's perfect for ALL ages, even adults.
